The young colt walked briskly down the center of the track, his head tossed side to side impatiently. Millie completely ignored the colt, she was still have asleep and was on the look out for some competition to waken her up and give Harry a good run! They make their way down the back straight in a bouncy walk with the odd dash forward from Harry as he grew more and more eager to run. Millie thought she say two shiloettes in the distance, just turning onto the bend. She urged Harry quickly into a forward trot which he was more than happy to do. The pair quickly caught up to the other horse and rider who turned out to be from one of the newer stables around. Hey, I'm Millie and this is Harry! Millie smiled, in the hope of a race!

_{The beautiful bay filly has been working well on the turf recently. Her ears were perked, she was muscling up, and I was more impressed each day. She was a beautiful filly, standing at just about fifteen two. As I brought her back to a steady walk after a warming up trot, I noticed someone entering the track on a beautiful looking colt. That was a son of Strictly Speaking... definitely. He was gorgeous and had some lovely conformation. Wow. I watched as Millie came over and said hello. I pulled Mia up beside Harry, and grinned. "Hey Millie, my names Alice. This is Mia, she's from Silver Stride Stables, but I acquired her and Isa just last week!" Mia pricked her ears and nickered, bobbing her head and pawing the floor. "Oi," I said sternly. She stopped and lowered her head. "Would you like to breeze with us today?" I asked.}

A smile spread across Millie's face. Exactly what she was looking for! Sure! Millie nodded her head in the direction of the track, suggesting they trot on. Harry tossed his head excitedly and made his way down the track in a sidewards kind of motion. Millie steadied him up until he was working in a nice way, pushing through from his back end, sending him on powerfully and easily. The pair of horses worked more or less at the same speed. One would pull forward and then drop back again, as the other pulled to the front of the pack. So, how far d'you fancy running today? Millie asked curiously, wondering how far this fine filly ran, and also wondering if it would mean she would be competition for Harry in the upcoming seasons.

We'll more than likely be going for the June Maiden Dirt. Unfortunatelly after that there's quite a wait until another suitable race for him is running, Millie sighed. Well at least we can get some practice in in that time! Harry trotted quietly beside Mia, he seemed quite content at the moment and calmed. But Millie knew as soon as the pace picked up he would become more hot headed and raring to go! Realising that she never answered Kacey's first question, she laughed slightly and splurted out, He's a sprinter too, I guess they match perfectly! Harry nickered and began tossing his head, he was becoming bored and it was about time for a quickening of pace anyway. Millie urged the young colt forward. With a little buck out of excitment and a squeel he lept into a lovely forward going canter.

Mia is a front runner so we'll go for the lead, then about two furlongs, you urge Harry and catch up with us to finish in a head bob? That should work... then it's good training as he likes to go from Mid pack..." Alice smiled stroking the filly's neck as she continued to canter along the soft turf.}

Oops I don't even realise what I'm saying sometimes, Millie laughed quietly trying to brush it aside feeling stupid. I ment June Maiden Turf. Millie concentrated on Harry for a moment, making sure he was working nicely, she wanted him to be well warmed up before the race. She couldn't risk the fine young colt injuring himself, especially with his next race coming up pretty soon. Yeah five furlongs is good! Millie replied. Harry's tail swished as he became more and more forward going, ready for a good run! The pair of horses approached the starting marker side my side. Millie held Harry steady.
