SOPS Stallions Y10
Status: OPEN
Status: OPEN
Welcome to the stud advertisement page for SOPS! Here you may request after breedings to our top-class retired horses, and maybe, just maybe we'll grant your request.
Just joking, it really won't be that difficult to get your breeding, as long as you're a stable I know and trust with the future foal's activity. Also, I'd love to have a chance to breed to the foal in the future. If you feel the need to, you can even throw in tempting reserves to convince me to allow the breeding, though they probably aren't necessary. I'm a reserve hogger < < click to see if you have any reserves.
So, without further ado, here are the lovely stallions! There are some special treats in the stallion line up this year, be sure to go and visit and consider them!Sweet Sugar Cane - click
10yo, Grade One, Y3 Breeders Cup Sprint winner
Progeny Highlights: Deadly Desires, The Goodness, Windbreaker, Afterglow
Progeny Adulation: Deadly Desires is a two-time Breeders Cup winner, having won the Juvenile Fillies Turf and the Turf Sprint. She won the Best Sprinter award for year eight. Windbreaker, another sprinter, is coming well, as are the other two.
Progeny Preferences: Cane's foals are usually superb sprinters. If you breed to him, expect a sprinter foal. No surface appears to be favored among his foals.
Studbook: 0/1 used (could consider a second if somebody is really convincing)

11yo, Grade One, Y3 Breeders Cup Sprint placed
Progeny Highlights: Buccaneer
Progeny Adulations: Bucc is a Breeders Cup winner and talented racehorse, who himself should be hitting the breeding shed soon.
Progeny Preferences: Timbo Tam only has two foals, so it's hard to say.

11yo, Grade Two, no major race wins
Progeny Highlights: On To The Spotlight, Moondance, Dashing In The Firelight
Progeny Adulations: Onya is known as a top turf mare, being grade one and one of Ario's top turf rivals. Mona is grade four, and is seen out there consistently placing in the top three but just missing the top spot. Fire has been sidelined by an injury for her three year old year, so has no major achievements to her name.
Progeny Preferences: While his top foal is a turfer, his other two are dirt horses. However, his foals seem to prefer distances from eight to sixteen furlongs.

Progeny Adulations: I'd overload this thread. These horses are extremely well known on GHF.
Progeny Preferences: Turfers make up the majority of his stock, though Ario and Greatness are dirt horses, with Ario being dual surface. His horses aren't sprinters, though. Try miler to class distances.
