Y12 STABLE FACE OFF workout
Getting ready for this Stable face off wasn't that bad. Mason thought it would be best to bring Declarate for a workout. Terri of course was her rider for right now. Terri was already on the back of Declarate guiding her towards the gate. The one thing that Terri liked was that Declarate ran races before from her previous owners and so she was hoping the mare would do great. Without any words to the trainer the gate opened and Declarate was off onto the track the ground moving under her.
Of course, with other horses on this track Terri decided to use them as her practice competitors. Clara seemed to do her job and galloped head straight into the middle of the other horses. She kept her pace straight but, she got a little frustrated being in the middle so Clara gained more in her gallop. Terri loved riding it was her dream since she was a child and she was finally able to live that dream as a jockey to such wonderful horses.
Mason watched from aside and he didn't originally train this mare but, got all the details he could from the original owner and trained her in a similar way but his own way. Declarate's ears were flopped back since her breathing was heavy and she was galloping at full speed. She was in the lead at first but, the others were just at her hind. She varied in her leg type but, she tried her best to do what she was here to do.
Once finished Terri slowed Clara down to come to a walk ans she rubbed the top part of her neck. "There there that wasn't that bad was it?" She said looking down at the mare. She loosened up on the reins and walked the mare off the track. This workout was good even if it seemed short Terri thought the mare was ready.
