Can I have feedback on Strike A Pose please Ripley? Even when workouts are done for that filly she just doesn't do well. Thanks for Blazing Kiss' win

^{My problem with Strike A Pose is she just doesn't seem to stand out as much in these fields. I'm thinking the turf races are really tough this year. It's going to take a top, top level horse to make a statement. She is only four. Maybe I would stick to races at The Wire with her, like Cav., did with Alluring Assault that are lower without this overall degree of competition. Stay away from grade twos and ones and wait to take on the three year olds. She'll have experience on them. It'll give her a boost of confidence and a strong record to come into the top races once again further along in the year.}

AHHHH I was so sure she had this! Feedback please Alexia...I know it had to of been tough, but I just want to know what it was that set Ventura over Nightshade. Workouts were good, so I know it couldn't of been that. I really need Nightshade to start making big wins here...

And Blue's race was hard to judge. He's a classy two year old who has run in some important races already. I hated to break his win streak, but the way Abastor and Livin' The Jazz came into the race, they stood out to me. The way the race set up it was Abastor and Blue running the length of the stretch in the duel and Livin' The Jazz closed just slightly ahead of Blue, and Abastor slightly ahead of Livin' The Jazz.

Don't get discouraged. He's gotten far so very soon in the season to be disappointed in one loss. Like the second coming of Infinite Warcry.</sup>

Nightshade - The race was so close, it was difficult to separate them. I felt Ven was trying all the harder for her loss in their last race and then drawing in their joint workout, but Nightshade didn't give it up easily. It was, basically, really hard to separate them.

Bella Luna - She is an amazing filly, so keep it up with her. She just couldn't keep up with Ven and Nightshade in the stretch and was about a neck behind them. In general, I feel she did really well and don't be discouraged as she definitely has what it takes to become a star.

In Front - I imagine this colt as an 8-11 or 9-12 horse, as half brother of Comeuppance and The Devil's Touch, etc, so he didn't really strike me as being capable of sprinting. Nice colt though

Demonic Desires - Speed Demon's offspring are doing excellently already and this one will be no different. Excellent breeding for the sprints and I can definitely see a superstar in the making

Furious By Nature - He's obviously very well bred, and both his parents were excellent over all distances. I know he's had a two furlong distance extension, but I still imagine him as 8-11, 9-12 and I feel he'll do better at those distances. He's a babe <3

Mighty News - Half to Flashy Wings, Sophie's Voice.. he's been bred nicely but I feel his distance preferences may be wrong. Sophie's Might was a sprinter, yes, and News Flash was also capable of sprinting, but he seems to me like he'd be better at 7-10. Nice colt

Okay, this field was extremely hard for me to place. All of the fillies here are fantastic and I had to rearrange this like a million times. So here are my comments.

Sizzling Dawn - She really just stood out to me for this race. The workout was great and she was just ready for this. She was so determined and I had to reward that.

Italian Ice - I know she was geared specifically toward this race, but the intensity and determination of Sizzling Dawn won over this go around. She wanted this race, not just because it was a major race, but because...it was simply a race she was determined to win. Wish I could placed her first. She was hard to put second.

Indian Darling - I love this filly, but she couldn't match the fierce rivalry between Sizzling Dawn and Italian Ice. Keep up the work with her and she's sure to be claiming the wins!

Akumabuelle - She was the least experienced here, but her workout was great! She needs to get back into the swing of racing! It was hard for me to place her out of the money because she definitely belongs there!

Stalker's Glory - Experience wise, she was on par with the competition, but she simply didn't stand out to me. I would suggest doing a complete work with her. Her prep workout for this race wasn't completed.

Again all great fillies and this was super hard for me. I wish they all could win.</sub>

Comments:

There were a lot of preceders/stalkers in this race. But in the end Red Herring and his fiery determination won out. His workout was detailed and perfect. After placing behind Mastermind, he wasn't about to let these horses pass him up. King's Ransom couldn't compete with the experience the other horses had. I would suggest entering him in more maiden races before attempting big races like these, but I do like him! He'll do great for you Sammy.</sub>

Sonja outclassed the field here. However, Stalker's Fury put up a fantastic fight and has gained a lot since winning her first race.

On another note, Amber Black feels exhilarated with that win with Ven and Henna is pleasantly surprised with Dawn's victory! And I don't know about you guys, but Red Herring has caught my eye.

Stalker's Glory- as I said in a field of top competing fillies she didn't stand out to me. It's really not about bloodlines for me. I really do like to see the owners and the horses want the win and simply in this race, I felt the others wanted this more.

Born to Impress - I switched between him and Red Herring...a lot, but feel confident in the win for Ripley. Born to Impress is doing fantastic, but he didn't stand out as much as Red Herring. I would suggest either getting him out more or posting more works with him...even if they aren't race prep works.

Nature's Dream - I didn't feel sold on the colt in his profile. I know his lines and such, but I felt like he was just "there". I would recommend re-tweaking his profile...I want you to sell me on this colt and honestly from works to profile...I just wasn't sold. Drudge up some muse for him and get him out more on the workout tracks because he has what it takes to become a sensation.

Kosoku - He was better rested than the field and well worked despite only having one race under him. Tears Of Blood was also well rested and had a touch more class so took the win. You're going in the right direction. Just pick your fields carefully
