GREY'S WISDOM Ridden by Terri Lane
May Maiden Turf Workout

Terri Lane was the jockey to Grey's Wisdom, the colt was very shy and it took awhile for her to get the grey colt still. so she could get the saddle on him. After Wizzer did calm down Terri placed the saddle upon his back and she hopped up onto the colt's back. He did walk out onto the track fine but, with the noises he reared up lightly shaking his head. "Woah! It's okay Wizzer its alright boy nice and easy.." She said taking a deep breath glad she didn't go flying off the horse.

She got him calmed down and entered the track as the colt pranced lightly until reaching the gate. After the start the colt set out immediately into the lead gently hitting the side of the gate. The ran 9-12 Furlongs and was best on turf surfaces. The padded on the ground slightly expanding his feet to gain more speed. He ran long distances and coming along the back stretch the colt slowed down his breathing slightly different. Coming to the turn Terri showed him the whip and the colt left the speed he was win and moved up a gear.

The colt may have been really shy but, he chose to kick butt while on the track staying clear of the rail coming from the outside as he then gained more stamina coming along the home stretch. The colt then passed the wire and came to an immediate stop. "There you go boy see all you needed was a nice little run." Terri said having the colt walk off the run he just had. She slid off the colt and grabbed his reins and pulled him off the track.

She took off his saddle and brushed him just to cool him off. He was calm at the moment and Terri wanted to see this colt do something great and prayed he wasn't too shy that he would not exceed to greatness.
