PASSION HEART Ridden by Terri Lane
Racing Post Trophy June Week 1 Workout
[/size]Passion Heart had worked out in May but, she was not raced that month so she could have a nice little break. Terri watched over her favorite racehorse on the stables and would train her to run more accurately. The filly was already all fired up and ready to go as it took awhile for Terri to get up on the fillies back because she was feisty as always. But, Terri managed to hop onto her back just fine as Passion Heart immediately trotted away towards the track.
"Easy now Passy the track will always be here." Terri said as she grabbed the reins and slowed the thoroughbred to a walk. Walking to the starting gate Terri got ready lowering down as she then urged the filly to leave the gate and that's exactly what she did. Passion Heart immediately drove towards the front not wanting to come behind her competitors. The black filly loved to run it was her deepest desire like in May she went out on a long nice run in the forest with her brother Ruler's Secret.
Terri was glad the filly got to run like a normal horse and not in a circle. Now was the time to race again and she hoped the filly was ready after her little break. She was great on turf surfaces and ran best with 7-10 Furlongs. She was ready for the upcoming race. Coming along the back stretch the filly whinnied while going faster. Terri knew the filly was up against other great horses some way better then Passion but, this filly would not back down without a fight.
Passion Heart then gained another gear and gave Terri more changing her run to a more promising run. She went faster and it was like driving or racing a Ferrari. Passion Heart was one of the first horses on Bowen Acres Stables and Terri wanted her to become a champion. The filly came to the last stretch and that was the big length and Terri showed the horse the whip and Passion Heart fought to stay ahead. She made sure her strides were accurate and when crossing the finish line the filly rose up after a joyful ride. The filly wanted to run and so she shall in the next big race.
