RED ADMIRAL Ridden by Terri Lane
Magic Night Stakes workout // June
[/size]Terri Lane wanted to workout the newest 3 year old filly at Bowen Acres Stables. The filly was a tall chestnut thoroughbred who stood 17 hands as a three year old. She was very beautiful and Terri named her Red Admiral because because she was a red colored chestnut and had the attitude that could seem like she was a military horse. She ran best on dirt tracks that could run 7-10 furlongs. She varied in the track but always at the end she liked to be up front.
Terri walked the red filly out onto the track and the horse held her head high as she was ready to go out onto the track. After entering the gate she was off as fast as she could flying on the track like a jet plane. Red was very tall and she could be seen towering over some of the smaller horses running on the track. She was on the first turn that ran onto the back stretch and she changed gears heading onto the stretch and expanded her running length. Her ears were perked back but, she enjoyed every moment of this run. "Easy Red now let's go." Terri said gently budging the filly to change gears again and she did just that.
The last turn and the filly changed her gears to the highest level and she gained stamina running faster towards the finish line. The filly ran passed the wire and came to a slow stop. "That was a very nice." Terri said walking the red filly off the track she they wouldn't get run over by others. The race was coming and it would be Red Admiral's first race to come.
