TEARS NO MORE Jockeyed by David Monroe
Trouble's workout for the Boy's Party
Trouble's workout for the Boy's Party
David would be training alone with Trouble today. For some reason the colt was in a nasty mood and running him alone was a good idea at the time. Tears No More was a promising horse he was ranked a G3 and sired by Cryin Out Loud. This workout wasn't going to be easy. He was racing in the Sprinter Triple Crown this week and he needed Trouble to be ready and focused. The bay colt stared into the distance with anger in his eyes. David needed to run the anger out so he could be well prepared in the race. He would be facing Alucard a proud favorite also another favorite Optimus Unstoppable.
David trotted the colt out as he moved with his frame to the side. Trouble was well known for his front running skills, taking off into the lead straight after the gate opened. He was no stranger towards it. A sprinter like Trouble needed eyes on him, one minute he was ahead of you the next on the side before taking his position again and taking over with domination and glory. David eased him towards a gallop not taking him to the full length. Trouble snorted through his nostrils appalled by his jockey's commands. The colt sprung off with the echoing hooves surrounded the track.
The sweat was already building up with Trouble and he began to punch through his orders right. David then pushed him faster to get the feel of how fast this race was going to go. The colt had not been pleased with his move to Nature Blues but, he would not let that stand in the way of his victory. The colt then picked up speed his strides now in full throttle away from the rails. He was beginning to feel the adrenaline rush sink in and the horse instantly knew exactly what to do and let out everything he had to finish this workout.
David tightened the reins in his hands and pulled them to the side so Trouble would follow the track in front of him. A sprinter like Trouble was a deadly machine once he was in the front it was a death match between those to his side. After passing the marker he was aiming for, David pulled Trouble to a halt, the colt biting the bit like his was aggravated for stopping. "Come on now Trouble, you know we aren't gonna go all the way. You need your strength for the race." David said trotting Tears No More off the track only to walk him when he reached the brick walkway. Trouble would not be the slow horse in this race he would give it his best and aim to follow Alucard and the rest of its leaders to win his glory.
