Even without a workout, I couldn't see Crook besting the likes of Tears Of An Angel as a new three-year-old.

Adored Jax's workout, Sammy. I think he could be a star if you continue to place him appropriately and give him a workout. I thought Handsome Tabby was the class of the field with his awesome turn of foot. Think the top two will be very effective turf runners this season.

The two three year olds would be stand outs in any field of their own age. I liked Refute's workout and think he's precocious enough to do well first time out. Take Flight being suddenly re-routed to this race over Dare To Impress made me think he was really using this just as a prep race. Which essentially, both colts did. I'm excited to see how they do in their initial three year old stakes debuts. Going to be a rivalry worth keeping an eye on.

I do think you have a very nice sprinter in Incitatus but both of the others had already had a solid start under their belt, lets not forget every horse in this race was a Front Runner, it just came down to experience and Incitatus didn't quite have as much.

All That Jazz caught my heart. It's official. I am in love with this filly and everything about her, from personality to workouts, screams champion at me. She was a big stand out to me. Lady Timeah and Affirmed Goddess were beautiful as well, but the winner to me was All That Jazz from the start. All of these horses are bursting with potential though, and I see a bright future for all of them.

Like A Lady and Sophie's Pride were very close to each other the entire race. I thought Lady would benefit most from her prior experience, but Sophie's Pride was gaining on the end. Bonfire closed with verve to miss by a half-length thanks to a terrific pace set up. Dudley's Girl did not stand out as much as the other fillies. Good race and I think I see the next group of good milers .

Don't Count Me Out - this is a real winner for me with her dirt relations doing exceedingly well at the 8-9 furongs. She screamed a dirt runner that will go far for you here Isabelle

Prometheus - purebred dirt here as well with great relations, but he strikes me as more longer range distances earning him second place here in this field

Genuine Risk - love this colt and his dirt connections couldn't be more solid, while also showing a great versatility over either surface. Compared to the top two who are strictly dirt, this hindered him a little, but I have no doubts he'll do wonderful things with him if you enter him wisely.

Miss Magic - these lines are newer in relation to the top two, but with Quick Silver's recent success as a juvenile right out of the gate, I think people will need to take notice of a new up and coming dirt sire in Mr. Hat & Clogs. Her dam side is fairly new and not as strong as the top three.

Pardon My French - I'm so happy to see a Rousseu baby! I'm very familiar here with the sire lines and they are definitely dirt oriented, but it is a newer line that hasn't been quite as proven as the other higher ranking foals. The relation to Ebony Gold Lady on the dam side hindered here slightly because of her very dominant turf relations. A Great colt though here Sammy!

Nutcracker Suite - Another Dylan Himself baby, he has recently proven himself with Supernatural, but still is very new to the racing world. I saw the other foals having more proven dirt connections at this range. I do know Supernatural loved the 8-10F distances, so that's something else to take into consideration as a plus. Personality wise, her personality didn't strike me as being precocious to muscle out the others. Still a very nice filly and I think with careful race selection in her races will really help you build a great foundation for her.

fourth Admiral's Lady

Uno Momento and Night Visions were both out for blood after not winning their first starts, but it was Uno Momento to hold a furiously fighting Night Visions off by a nose. Nothing wrong with Incognito, but he just didn't stand out like the top two to me today. Admiral's Lady strikes me as the type of horse to rise with experience, like Shenanigans did for me. Great group of juvies!

Sammy, Rula is a great mare, but she was put against horses with more race experience and class. I think if you drop her down to races suited just for her grade she will progress much faster! I know it's hard at the beginning of the year when there's races that are open grade and clumped together, but if she sticks to improving her race record she will be up there in no time!

Close between the top two, but I feel like Flashpoint's class edged him out over Gallant Knight. Red Admiral is a good mare, but she has relatively few starts and therefore less experience than the top two. Tiny Dancer is a new 3yo with limited experience, so she was placed fourth. She should definitely be placed in like-graded races for a bit (even though the G5s are cutthroat...). Dreaming Of Glory needs a new workout for the year, but I definitely see a competitive horse in him if he gets the work.
