Hi all. It is with a lot of sadness that I announce reclaims from Snowflake and Star Thoroughbreds. I've been putting this off for as long as I can, but I simply cannot wait any longer to reclaim these horses. Know that as I sell these horses on, I would like to have lifetime buybacks. All previous reserves should be honored by the new owners. I would like every person interested to post their interest, and I would like to pick the new owner of each horse because they are incredibly well lined and special horses.
NOTE: I reserve the right to remove any of these horses from sale at any time. I am undecided about who I would like to keep from this bunch, but wanted to see who would be interested in taking each horse in first before making decisions.
Studs
Confianza
Original
This ten year old stud is a rarely colored palomino and nearly swept the Triple Crown in his day. He has only been bred once so far (it seems?). Nice fresh stud with a lot of untapped talent. Could be an excellent foundation stud for anybody interested. - SOLD TO SAMMY FOR 300K
Passionate Flyer
Passionate Class - HoF Simply A Flyer by HoF BHoF Merry Bay King
I'd be taking this stud myself, and I'm still on the fence about it, but I thought I would open up this opportunity. You're looking at a son of Passionate Class, the sire of grade one sensation Innocent Passion and Witch Creek's rising turf mare Miss Josephine. This is a sireline that can go anywhere from sprints to classics. Simply A Flyer is an amazing mare and Hall Of Fame inductee. Aside from her own accomplishments, her grandsire is none other than Merry Bay King, the cornerstone foundation turf stud of SOPS and legendary sire of legendary horses. Passionate Flyer hit grade one himself and ran impressively, especially during his last season, and his pedigree backs up his potential as a turf stud. An absolute must for anybody looking for an in to legendary turf lines. - STAYING AT SOPS
Silent Fury
I'd introduce him, but his pedigree and his record speak for themselves and I'm probably going to keep him. Post if you're interested, but he's likely staying. - STAYING AT SOPS
Bank On Greatness
Full sibling to HoF legendary sire Impressario, as well as an amazing racehorse in his own right with three Breeders Cup wins among many other accolades. Bank On Greatness is just about THE BEST stud prospect you will ever find on the market. For those of you unfamiliar with Impressario the racehorse, Ario won four Breeders Cups on different surfaces as well as the Triple Crown and has sired a Canadian Triple Crown and Turf Triple Crown winner among other things. Bank On Greatness won the BC Juvenile, Marathon and Dirt Mile and his first foals are looking amazingly promising. I am not letting go of this gold mine lightly.
Born To Impress
Impressario x Born To Fly
Grade one and a star performer in his own right, Born To Impress gives you access to the Impressario dynasty directly as well as the very impressive - and rare to find the lines of - create mare Born To Fly, who was a knockout as a juvenile and three year old. I'm leaning towards keeping this horse, but interest is more than welcome. He is six years old and would make an amazing fresh sire.
Broodmares
Born To Fly
I'm actually going to keep her, and her name is here in this thread for reference. Excited to have this mare come home. - STAYING AT SOPS
Windbreaker
Sweet Sugar Cane x Heartbreaker
This grade one mare's only foal, Lilith Wind, has been absolutely superb with Intrepid Racing. Windbreaker has the preferences of a sprinter but beat the classic turf fillies with her win in the Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf as a two year old. You want access to the sprinting dynasty that is Sweet Sugar Cane and his foals? You've got it right here, with a unique damline to boot and a fresh mare with plenty of foals left in her.
Simply A Flyer
Merry Bay King x Flying Loose
This girl is a Hall of Fame inductee, with lines to the turf legend MBK (introduced previously in this thread) and with enough potential as a broodmare to make me wonder why I'm even posting her here. This filly might as well have been unstoppable as a three and four year old. She's beyond talented and was even named Horse of the Year in her day. Yeah, odds of her being truly sold are a bit slim, but I'm looking for interest.
Lawliet's Girl
Merry Bay King x Bluebell Sonnet
Yep, another daughter of MBK, but consider the damline on this one. Bluebell Sonnet's lines are sadly in short supply, but she's dam to the likes of grade one turf superstar Blue Me Away as well as grade one Royal Cadenza. This mare was a knockout racehorse - take a look at that final season on the track - and she has the lines to be even better as a broodmare. Once again, another one I'm hesitant about letting go, but open to offers. I'm trying here guys XD - SOLD TO CAVVY FOR 500K
Racehorses
This is tricky. Several of these horses have been frozen for some time. After consulting with their dams (XD), I've listed some birth years that you can switch them to so that they're still raceable.
Sugar Rush
She is currently a four year old and can be raced as such for Y16. Sugar Rush is a really talented sprinter in the making, and has plenty of seasons left in her. Despite a lighter season, she still stole a leg of the Triple Sprinter Tiara. This filly is going to turn into something big with the right racing schedule and care. She is currently grade three and runs five to eight furlongs over both surfaces - flexible as a racehorse, invaluable as a broodmare with lines like hers.
Fly By Darkness
She can be raced as a four year old for Y16. Currently grade four and runs eight to twelve furlongs over both surfaces. Has some elusive bloodlines and a lot of hidden class that never got to show. As a three year old, she was nothing short of tough, and as a four year old she'll be even tougher. Has a lot of potential to run well as an older horse. Don't let her lower grade get you down - Flyby is going to grade up quickly. - SOLD TO SCOTIA FOR 500K
Radiant Silver
Four year old, grade four, eight to twelve furlongs dirt. This horse has never truly had his day. He's raced very, VERY lightly but oh my gosh his lines. He started off the season incredibly strong with an HoTY win and will only get better. And look at the legacy he can pass on to your foals. Radiance and Silver Stalker were no slouches as racehorses - Radiance is even in the Hall of Fame - and for grandparents you have such names as HoF True Enough, sire sensation Night Stalker and a contained foundation broodmare line of SOPS in On To Dancing.
Winged Pegasus
HoF Pegasus Wings [HoF Royal Red Richard x BHoF Forbidden Wings] x HoF Deadly Desires [BHoF Sweet Sugar Cane x BHoF Requiem]
If you're not going !!!!!!! over this colt, you really should be. Winged Pegasus was top of the class as a juvenile. He won eight of sixteen starts, all but one of them in a HoTY race, and he was widely viewed as Star Thoroughbreds' next top turf sprinter. He managed to start once at three. Honestly, with this colt, i'm willing for him to remain three years old {Y13 born) or for you to race him as a four year old (Y12 born), but whatever you pick just know you're picking up the right horse. His full sister is Athena's Desires and she won the Breeders Cup as a juvenile and is currently grade two and rising. Winged Pegasus is beyond crazy in terms of racing success and bloodlines and you'd be crazy not to snatch him up.
Wild Daisy
Jessie James x HoF BHoF Wild Flower
I want to take this filly and hide her away, but here she is. Wild Daisy brings the best of the turf world into one horse. Sire Jessie James has also sired Dazzling Dame and Infinite Warcry, both Breeders Cup winners and award winners and numerous other accolades I can't remember. And he was no slouch as a racehorse either. And take the dam - Wild Flower has originated her own turf dynasty. She is a cornerstone turf mare for my breeding program. I can't even begin to get into her many successful foals. Wild Daisy herself is a star. She wasn't overly precocious as a juvenile, but as a three year old (and she will remain three years old) she presents untapped possibilities. Grade four, runs nine to twelve furlongs turf and will easily be a late surprise.
Sweet Like Sugar
I CAN'T SELL THIS ONE SHE'S OUT OF DASH OF SUGAR. But if you're interested, let me know anyway, but I'm pretty sure I'm not letting her go.
Juveniles/Prospects
Wilderbeast
Bank On Greatness x Wildly Natural
FREAKING OUT because every horse in this pedigree is freaking legendary. This horse is a literal blank slate of amazing pony. You can keep him as a juvenile [Y14 born] or have him as a yearling [Y15 born] or even a weanling [Y16 born]. I'll just warn you...this guy is just about a full sibling to Pandora, winner of the Turf Triple Crown. His sire is a full sibling to Pandora's sire, and Wildly Natural is the dam of both. So yeah. Somebody tell me why I'm offering the next king of the racing world for sale?
Flashbang
Flashy Wings x War Cry
Out of two top tier dirt performers, this horse offers access to unique lines and a lot of crazy good possibilities. Another blank slate, and you can keep the year at Y14 or go to Y15/Y16 if you want. - SOLD TO SCOTIA 500K
I'm just going to stop this here. There's probably some I missed, but let's start with this...I will also include a list at the bottom here summing it all up.
