There is an intelligence behind these eyes that most horseman will acknowledge when first meeting Wocky in a state of calm. Endearing, perhaps; he will seem tranquil and observantly at ease in many bustling situations. However intelligence is often quivering at the roots of the sports most difficult horses, and though Wocky doesn't quite take the prize, his apparent ease with well... everything, is far from the truth.
His brain is always active, always ticking over; his confidence feeds from past experiences and they'd better be good ones if you don't want to have a bad day. His memory is second to few, and it will come back to bite just about anyone who works with him; they say Wocky is like a mirror into their worst selves, exposing their flaws and accentuating them ten fold.
When he's good, he's great - when he's bad, he's a nightmare. If he thinks he can get away with something he's pretty hard to sway. Stubborn, overconfidence will be his victory and his demise. A good jockey has to keep tabs on him at all times to keep him from getting ahead of himself.
