Closers were unfortunately not favored in this race of speed; Flashabelle couldn't get around the solid wall of horses in front. She tried valiantly, though. The Goodness, bred for sprinting and a sprinter herself, had an advantage here. The end was a speed duel between her and Born To Soar, who wasn't giving up easily. Born To Soar had the edge with experience, while Ness had it with sprinting suitability. It was a close race. HS Incriminate and Silver Song all dueled gamely, and their own duel blocked Flashabelle. It was a good race, no doubts about that.
