Midnight Thriller
out of character: whoo this is going to be the match-up. twin sisters. yikes! here is her personality = ... watch out she is just like your horse lol. remember this thread might take long cause i'm on here part time...
the start of the workout:
Kirsten rode onto the track early in the morning, fighting her young black stallion... er... filly beneath her. She was shocked that they had gotten away without being seen yesterday on the track. She wondered how long she could keep it up before the next races. Well, she doubted it would last much longer... this was GHF and the people seemed to have spies everywhere.
Midtee swung her head sharply to the side and tried to duck to the left. Kirsten nearly lost her seat. Oh right she was on Midnight Thriller, the little Night Stalker replica. She had to be careful with this horse. She urged the young filly into and trot. Oh but noooo she was going to try and bolt. She caught the bit before Midtee could grab it. That's right, she knew her horse.
The juvenile still had not entered the racing scene yet, partially because ARS has been on the "down low" and partially because Midtee has been a tough horse to break and Kirsten wanted to make sure the monster was ready first. Well, she was as ready as she was ever going to be...
Kirsten thought back to the day that the twins were born. That day was so stressful. They had almost lost the hall of famer mare. But the results were blessed and Kirsten could still remember the two fillies running through the paddocks, side by side, always competing. There never seemed to be a sure winner with those two, I guess that's why they butted heads so much.
The day Eternal Phantom had moved to Stride of Perfection Stables had been a sad one but it had been for the best. There was no way ARS could have handled two mini Night Stalkers on the track. One was hard enough. Kirsten wondered if the two fillies still looked alike...
She clicked her tongue and urged the filly into a strideful gallop. She made sure her filly was under control. There was a reason that Kirsten was practicing the beast before the break of dawn. They pretty much needed an empty track to start off every workout. Sigh...
