In a fantastic twist of events, Ripley Marsh has just announced to the media that she has entered In Front into the Kentucky Derby. The son of Touch Up joins Supernatural, one of the top three year old fillies in the country, in the current six horse line up. Witch Creek Stable will now have two Kentucky Derby runners. Both of them, along with Cross My Heart and currently Wishing For A Heroine, are training here at Green Horse Fields until next week's derby.
I am not surprised as In Front has been stunning over the course and carrying his flesh well. He won the Louisiana Derby here, as well as the LeComte Stakes and Southwest Stakes at The Wire. He has been nothing but a revelation for Witch Creek this season and looks to run better than The Devil's Touch did in her Triple Crown attempt so long ago.
