Grade One Daughter of Silverfoot Retires
Just as the title says, yes ladies and gentlemen Silver Secret has finally retired. After five years on the track she’s finally achieved G1 status and has earned herself a spot in Grayson Meadows' breeding barn. Silver Secret ran her heart out in the G3+ Kiss Your Title Stakes* against the likes of Eternal Phantom and Nightshade but fell short and finished 3rd. When she came off the track it was clear something wasn't right, and after further evaluation we had discovered that Sissy had sustianed a Condylar fracture. As a team we decided that it was best to retire the daughter of Silverfoot instead of bringing her back next season.
Silver Secret ran once as a two year old, placing 4th in the Stormy Night Maiden Dirt. She would come back as a three year old and rattle off seven wins, six places, and four shows. Silver Secret returned to the track as a four year old, but only ran three times, winning the Eupolio Derby. She joined the ranks of Grayson Meadows as a five year old and has achieved our original goal of getting her to Grade One status. The daughter of Silverfoot and Secret Miracle is finishing out her career with a record of 40-13-12-10 and earnings of $3,546,000.
As far as breeding plans go, Silver Secret has been booked to Instant Success for Y15. We've decided to name the resulting foal Leviticous.
