STARFIRE TAKES ON THE ACORN STAKES
It is that time of year for the big races and the horses to take them on. The Triple Tiara is around the corner and Nature Blue Stables has entered Bucephalus daughter StarFire. The team is confident the Filly will throw a strong hand as she has the knack to stalk the leaders until they tire. With her recent wins of the Reach for Perfection Dirt Classic and the Stable Face off Grade Five dirt she has certainly come a short long way. Not only does her lines fall back to Augusto but with her dam Fly High Silver she shows relations to FS Mockingbird and GS Ultimate Challenge.
Carrie Donovan, StarFire's trainer enjoys working the filly as it has been a challenge and a desire. She has had a worthy break from the tracks but she is soon to make a comeback and Carrie is sure that she will find her way to the top with the Acorn Stakes. StarFire may make a fool of other entrants but all the staff team can do is hope and pray for a good result with her workout of 8 strong furlongs the filly was breezing nicely.
