AUGUST 2015 MEMBER INTERVIEW WITH CRUISEY
1. How did you find GHF/TW, and when did you join?
I found GHF in about Year 10 (I think it was around 2009/2010), and I joined shortly after that! I took a break because of school and returned at the beginning of Year Fourteen (I think it was 2014), and that’s when I joined TW!
2. How did you get your username, is there any specific meaning attached to it?
My username is actually the horse I ride’s name, Cruise. Except I always call him Cruisey so it stuck!
3. What is your favorite thing about GHF/TW?
I absolutely love all of the members here and how everything is run! It’s super easy and user-friendly, and I love creating ponies lol.
4. Describe yourself, how tall are you? What color are your eyes and hair? What is your clothing style? What month and day is your birthday? What is your astrological sign? Chinese animal?
Well, I’m a shorty standing at 5’3”, I have naturally brown hair (currently it is purple!!), brown/hazel eyes, and I like to wear oversized band t-shirts and shorts in the summer, and in the winters it’s usually hoodies and sweatpants or leggings. I was born October 30th, I’m a Scorpio, and I’m born the year of the Rat (lol worst animal to be).
5. Do you have a mantra/saying/adage?
I say ‘nah’ a lot, as well as ‘are you joking me?!’ and ‘for real!’
6. What are your favorite activities?
I love sports, and in my spare time I love to draw and use watercolour paint.
7. Who is your favorite famous horse trainer?
Non-racing, it would have to be Boyd Martin or Danny Emerson. For Thoroughbreds, I really like Todd Pletcher and Mark E. Casse. For Standardbreds, it would be Cassie Coleman and Benoit Baillargeon.
8. Do you collect anything?
Does food count? Lol not really, other than band stickers so I can hoard them on my laptop.
9. Do you have a job? Are in you in school?
I currently have two jobs, and yes I am going into my second year of University!
10. Do you have pets?
I have a wonderful 9 year old German Shepherd named Kima. Her birthday is December 22nd, 2005.
11. What kind of car do you drive?
I drive a Lexus RX300, but I want to sell it so I can get a Toyota Tacoma or a Toyota Tundra in the future!
12. Favorite/least favorite.
Animal (Besides horses) Favourite: Dog. Least Favourite: Any type of insect or reptile (sorry reptilian lovers)
Book – Favourite: Oo that’s a tough one, but I have to go with the Shiver trilogy and the Scorpio Races by Maggie Stiefvater. My least favourite book has to be non-existent because I’ve read so many books I’ve forgotten the names of them LOL
Color – Favourite: Pink and Black, Least Favourite: Orange
Drink – Favourite: Coke or Five Alive, Least Favourite: Root Beer
Food – Favourite: Definitely Pasta, Least Favourite: Broccoli
Game – Favourite: GHF/TW ;P, Least Favourite: I don’t really play games but my brother plays League of Legends and its super annoying
Holiday – Favourite: Halloween, Least Favourite: Easter (I love chocolate, but I’m not that religious lol)
Movie – Favourite: I can watch The Avengers movies forever
Music – Favourite: Anything heavy metal and rock (so my favourite band is Attila and Miss May I), Least Favourite Band DEFINITELY Blood On The Dance Floor and Never Shout Never (Christofer Drew is an a-hole)
Riding Style – Favourite: Eventing!! I don’t have a least favourite
TV Show – Favourite: Used to be The Saddle Club for the longest time but now it’s Heartland and Orange Is the New Black.

Definitely when I walked in on some random worker using the washroom because he didn’t lock the door or answer when I knocked.
17. What is your most triumphant moment?
Winning first place at my first event as a senior rider against 15 older people!
18. What is your worst memory?
Something happened at my dad’s friends’ cottage and I had nightmares for years, and the day I found out my old mare was put down.
19. What is your best memory?
Winning Champion with my old mare at a jumper series
20. What do you fear?
Being judged and being alone.
21. What do you dream?
Of becoming something great in the equine world.
22. Describe yourself in five words.
Lazy (sometimes), quiet, sarcastic, happy, loyal.
23. Do you have any secrets?
They’re called secrets for a reason
24. Do you hide anything about yourself?
Of course, who doesn’t?
25. Do people misunderstand you in any way?
All the time.
26. Explain why you are the way you are.
Honestly I don’t know, I guess it’s the way I was raised and the people who I hang around.
27. If you have three genie wishes, what would you wish for and why?
Money so I could pay off bills and buy things, some sense of peace, and a nice fancy horse lol.

I am a very uninteresting person who wants to make friends but doesn’t know how sooooo just be my friend LOL.
