NOVEMBER 2015 MEMBER INTERVIEW WITH RIPLEY
1. How did you find GHF/TW, and when did you join?
I found the website siggy on another equine rpg when I was 13.
2. How did you get your username, is there any specific meaning attached to it?
I loved the name Ripley from a book I read. I just picked a last name to go with it lol.
3. What is your favorite thing about GHF/TW?
I love the people. I love having a place to go when I'm having a bad day and knowing I can find a sympathetic ear. When I'm not doing too well in RL, it's nice to be doing well in the SIM world.
4. Describe yourself, how tall are you? What color are your eyes and hair? What is your clothing style? What month and day is your birthday? What is your astrological sign? Chinese animal?
I'm 5'1." My eyes are brown and my hair is currently brown. In the summer it tends to lean toward blond. I've become more laid back in my style, but I'll never wear sweatpants in public. I'm weird XD. I feel too exposed. I love anything with jeans and LOVE boots. I was born on December 6th. I'm a Sagittarius. I'm a monkey and 2016 is going to be my year again. Watch out
5. Do you have a mantra/saying/adage?
I'm determined to prove everyone wrong. I'm going to live my dream, not live someone else's.
6. What are your favorite activities?
Writing, stalking pony sites here, riding my handsome boy and spending time with my boyfriend.
7. Who is your favorite famous horse trainer?
Hmm... I think my favorite is Chad Brown, but I'm starting to really Maria Borrell, RunHappy's trainer.
8. Do you collect anything?
Turtle figurines from vacation spots.
9. Do you have a job? Are in you in school?
I'm working, unfortunately. I'm old.
10. Do you have pets?
I lost my best dog just last week, but I have two cats, an off track thoroughbred and family also has a chocolate lab and another cat.
11. What kind of car do you drive?
I got a new one this year, my first purchased car ever. It's a Mitsubishi Outlander Sport and is perfect for winter driving.
12. Favorite/least favorite.
Animal (Besides horses) - Cats (sorry CC). I just love to cuddle them and squeeze them and love them / miniature horses (sorry about the horse part, but tis the truth)

I'm opinionated and honest. I know how to listen to people and how to walk in other people's shoes.

Sometimes I think I can be a bit selfish, but I'm working on that. I think it comes from lack of trust in other people.

Hmmm... I'm a writaholic? I don't like movies.
16. What is your most embarrassing moment?
I don't really know XD. I've had several, but nothing really stands out.
17. What is your most triumphant moment?
When I published my first book this past June! Currently working book number 4!
18. What is your worst memory?
When I went away to college my first year, I had massive homesickness and missed my family terribly. I went through a bit of a depressive state and lost weight. I wish I hadn't been on my hiatus from this place because it probably would have helped me.
19. What is your best memory?
Meeting my boyfriend and the last five years that we've been together.
20. What do you fear?
I fear being alone and people disliking me. I'm always somebody's second option.
21. What do you dream?
Opening several horses, living a life on my own terms and being comfortable in my own skin.
