I know you needed a mare more since I bred to basically all of yours for Y16 lol. Btw if you are interested in one of those foals, I will gladly let you have one or two since I really overdid it on babies for the year.

So I see True Italian has 3 wins. Do I just make up a race record for him using the 3 wins incorporated in that? Since The True Nut if a Y4, Im going to make True Italian Y0. Im going to at least have him for breeding for 2 years and retire him when he turns 18 in Y18.

Miss Holly I made Cute Tee born Y1, since they probably didn't have full racing careers it's okay to make them 4 when they had Cute Italian. For Cute Tee I just listed in her profile (if you want to look for an example) that her record was lost. Since you know he had three wins it's fine to put him at G5, just list wherever is best for your profile that his records were lost but it is known he had three wins on the track, or something like that. And it's okay if you want to breed him into his 20's, I'll be breeding Cute Tee next three years here for sure, then a break and maybe one more foal after that we'll see. Nobody is really too picky about age on breeding retirement, more interested in not having a horse with 30 offspring XD

I also believe it would be fine for you to breed a Y14 from him so you could have Y16 juvie hitting the tracks. Looking at your juvie stock, you could try to find a mare with middling distance and breed yourself a 7-10F foal. We backdate breedings all the time for new members and horses brought out from obscurity XD You can also back date a breeding for him for a yearling if you have space.

And haha, nice try missy. You bred 'em you race 'em XD I'm full. If you truly are too swamped you can offer a few of whichever horses you want for lease out when they start racing and someone might take them for a year in exchange for a breeding to them. Lots around here seem pretty good at happily taking a lease if they are interested in the bloodline and want to snag a reserve, and just want to enjoy racing them. But be warned it's best to post up the lease several game months early before everybody fills their barns and don't have room. You could also cheat a bit if you have room I think my mares are old enough to backdate the breedings a year so they would be yearlings rather than weanlings for you, pm to discuss that more if you need to.

I just want to step in here real quick. This is not a good practice to do - breed foal to lease out. You should be breeding to race the horse not to just have an excuse to breed. We as a community made exceptions and stepped in to help you Isabelle because you stated that you weren't racing this year - and that's your personal choice due to life circumstances. What I don't want to see is a breeding epidemic, horses resulting that no one intended on or planned on.

If this gets out of hand, then we will need to enforce breeding limitations.

I'm sorry. Holly bred a number of my mares when she first started up here with the intent on racing them. I think the foals she bred as well as ones she got in the sale perhaps were too many for her now? You are right breeding should not be done without intent to race and have a career. I haven't bred any foals I don't intend to race, I never wanted to lease the horses I need to lease this season, it just happened that way. I always wanted to fully race my horses and I wish I didn't have to lease. I would never breed a foal I didn't want. Please don't confuse my personal life problems causing the need for me to lease as me not wanting my horses. The only alternative would be freezing my stable like snowy did, which is still possible if everyone has a problem with my leasing?

I allowed Holly to breed my mares because she had the intent on racing them and at the time she had no foals. However Holly sounded overwhelmed here perhaps and I thought that being a new member leasing a few for a season might help her when they turn 2 but that seems bad advice. I was not telling her to breed crazy and lease them out for others, just trying to help her as she sounded in a jam. Holly if you are too overwhelmed with the foals you have then you should consult Cav, Snowy, or Frosty on what to do with the foals you've bred and bought I apologize for my post it was not good advice.

Oh gosh guys. I fully intend on racing all of my foals. I simply threw that out there due to the fact those foals are from her mares and in case she was interested. In the coming years I am limiting my amount of foals.
