Blanchette for Hall of Fame

Blanchette.

Blanchette ("Babie") has a true heart for racing. Although she has always run in another horse's shadow her whole career she never gave up hope. She never was taken seriously by her owner/jockey or by the racing world and yet has shown that she was full of potential. She beat all odds and came out on top at the peak of her third year in racing. Her lifetime racing record ended up being 48-15-15-7 which leaves only 11 races that she failed to show, all of which were mostly at the beginning of her career. This was a horse that was never really a major threat but ended up beating out the best turf horses out there. She snagged first place in 3 out of the 4 season series races along with the Universal Cup, and placed in this year's Breeder's Cup Turf. She has a good record and a good racing spirit, that is why I think she deserves the chance of the HoF title.

I'm sorry Kirsten, but I voted no. Blanchette is an awesome racehorse, but she didn't leave the impression on me that she was an extremely unique and amazing mare at the same time. She was an excellent turf horse and she always came to the races with glory on her, but she just didn't present that special quality I need to find in a real Hall Of Famers. She's amazing, yes, but she doesn't stand out among the ranks of the most amazing.

I voted no because she is unrealistic. There is no such thing as a Albino horses. Most horses look albino, but they are really a maximum sabino. And there is no way she could be a sabino because neither of her parents carry the sabino gene.And the JC doesn't accepted albino, only whites.
And she didn't really jump out at me. A lot of her races are on other sites.
