The Goodness
Morgan and Owen hopped out of the truck together. Morgan smiled as she walked by the trailer. They had just got a new trailer and put their newly made logo on the side of it. She stood admiring it while Owen came behind her and wrapped his arm around her. "It's perfect," he said while smiling. Morgan agreed. They stood for a few more minutes before Taylor came up behind them. "Looks great!" she said when seeing the sign. Both Morgan and Owen turned around. "Hey Taylor! Thanks, we just got it done a few days ago," Morgan said while beaming. "Today, you're on Ness running with Owen and Bucc, the usual," she said. Taylor nodded, "Sounds good!" She headed to the barn to get Ness ready.
Both Taylor and Owen approached the track. Ness trotted quietly, her dark black mane bouncing against her neck while Bucc was sidestepping, dancing, and kicking out. This was considered his normal behavior, maybe even nice. He could be a lot worse when it came to that. This was him being calm and collected, something he only did for Owen, and Owen only. The two horses reached the track and crossed over to the inside rail. Bucc threw himself into the bridle and pulled with all his might to be let go. But Owen held him back firmly and gave him a quick correction. The two horses cantered quietly around the track for a few times. Ness was much much smaller than Bucc. The seventeen hand stallion towered over the small fifteen hand filly. But she wasn't intimidated. She tried to jump in front of Bucc a few times, but Taylor held her back.
After cantering around the track a few times, Owen gave the signal and took off with Bucc. Ness noticed this quickly and didn't even have to be asked to go. She didn't enjoy being behind another horse, but she accepted it and waited behind the massive stallion. Taylor felt her heart race beneath the saddle as she gripped her silky black mane. Ness let her ears flop as she bobbed her head to give her more motivation. Her nostrils flared pink with her effort while her coat turned a slick chocolate. Taylor glanced as she saw her black legs blur beneath her. She may be small, but she put her heart and all of her effort into every one of her races no matter what.
The two sprinters came flying around the turn quickly.

Mastermind
When Owen was finished untacking and walking out Bucc from an earlier workout, he brought him back to his stall to rest. He then headed to the bright chestnut's stall, Mastermind. Mastermind held a lot of Riverwood's future on his shoulders. He was of two HOF parents. His pedigree meant winning and winning only along with his personality and style. He is quick and calculating, to be simple, he is a mastermind. He knows his way around and once he steps foot on the track, well the track is all his. Owen knows this well, very well, and it's one of the reasons he loves the colt so much.
He tacked Raz up quickly and pulled himself up onto the horse's back. Raz nickered as a fellow Riverwood horse trotted by with Morgan. Morgan waved on the dark bay filly known as Afterglow. Both of these guys were sprinters and both Morgan and Owen know they will be a challenge to one another on the track. Owen urged Raz to pick up a trot as they neared the track. He agreed eagerly and jumped into the next gait. His coat was already glowing a rich gold and copper in the afternoon sun. He sleekly cut mane bounced on his glossy neck as he trotted quickly to the track. Owen slowed as they approached the track to wait for an opportunity to jump in and start running. The afternoon usually allowed for the track to be fairly busy.
Once Owen found a spot to jump in, he urged Raz back to a canter and jumped to the inside rail.
