Silver Birch
The morning sun was up and it must be just gone five in the morning. It was brilliant time to exercise the white stallion, which we called Baylee. The reason I decided to do it now, is that the colt have a streak to challenge other horses and have a right hormonal change if he lost, even in a workout. Yawning a little I made my way to the handsome colt, and saw him ready to get to work. The groom have already had him tacked up, so I decided to do the per race checkups. Making sure he was healthy, and by the way his blue orbs looking at me I know he was eager to go. Slowly I mounted up and walked towards the turf track, which we found out he loved running on as well eating on.
Slowly I let him trot for few moment getting him forucs as he was more interested looking for a challenger. Squeezing my leg into his side, his creamy legs began to run into a rocky motion at first, but once I gave him a wake up call with the whip he started to get back into his work. I don't really blame his attention span, since he was really young at the moment. Still we had a race to prepare for and he needs to fit and ready for it. Once I knew he was focus, I allowed him more freedom and encourage him to gallop.
His cream mane began to flow into my face and encourage him to run some more, hoping to get his potential speed out of him. Soon we were coming around the final stretch and he spirited his full petrol out of his tank. His breathing was normal, but a little labored what I would normally like. Slowly I pulled him into a canter and then to a trot, as he fought a little on the bit, but I ironged him and soon he gave up fighting and I walked him back to the yard, handing him to the stable hand, so I could report back to the trainer on how he did in the workout today.
