Sweat Points and Baylee Shepherd
Everything was getting exticting now, the year was beginning to end and the major race was due to come, which was the breeder's cup. Time to train hard to make sure all the horses were ready, one of them was Sweat Points, well everyone called her Sweat Pea. I stroked her neck and got her ready for the track. The mare was really sweat even though I haven't ridden long and she was bought from a sale.
We were on the track and I allowed her to breeze comfortable along the track, she was experienced mare, so she knew that a small canter was all that needed was to get the muscles unloose and not risk of injury. The small exercise was done, I trotted towards the gate, and she was angel to be loaded and I smiled some more. Stroking her neck, the gates sprung open and she broke quick which caught me off guard a little.
Once I gotten the handle of the situation he got her encourage her to run some more. The stride was amazing and he never felt anything like this. The mane was flying into his face, and the dirt was being kicked behind them again. When the workout was coming to an end, he gave Pea her head, and she responded and began to show her true racing magic, and it was really fast, and the ground was shaking underneath her hooves. Baylee couldn't believe it and couldn't wait for the real race from this filly. Once the finished line was pass he pulled her up and gave her a well deserved pat, and dismounted, giving her to the groom and went to his next ride, since the stable was really busy to get ready for the breeder's cup now.
