White Chocolate & Skye Webber
The big day have arrived. The breeder's cup have arrived and our best looking horse which was qualified to run in the major race of the year. I was being really preparing myself for this and I have been giving the cream mare, her coat was gleaming and she knew she was the best. I also noticed the filly was the only female horse in the horse, since the other runners so far were colts.
I got the filly out of her stall and place some exercise bandage on her legs so she would damage them while she ran on the turf. I didn't want her to pull a injury, as she got potential to hit higher grade. Finally the bandage was done, and I jumped onto her back, being careful I didn't hurt her this way. Gathering the reins and stirrups I walked her to the turf track, and allowed the cream filly to canter along five lengths, so her muscles were warmed up and she was able to show what she had, after winning her first race last week.
Once the filly's muscles were warmed up and ready, I trotted her towards the gates. The break was getting cleaner and cleaner now, and I was getting impressive. This time it was just a breezing workout for the breeding cup on our, just me and the horse as one. The gates sprung open and the filly shot out just like a rocket, before she wouldn't do that and I was amazed on how good she was getting. I kept her in an easy stride as I know the cream filly hugged the rail and settled in the bottom of the pack. Good girl we are ok, you are fine. Nothing to worry girl, I whispered into her ears, to keep her calm and prevent her to rush, or have the feeling she was being rushed.
Six furlongs into the workout race, I continue to talk to her are you ready girl? Then let's show them angel, go! Clicking my tongue as well, her head was been given to her and she noticed this, and her speed picked up and I noticed this was her breaking power, when she uses like she was taking the lead again. Then the finished line was seen and I knew she was ready to show those colts that she was worthy and have to eat her dust for breakfast. Pulling her up I took her back to the stall and cooled her down, and then left to report to Sean about the workout and to see how she ran in this week's workout which was going to be amazing I had a feeling.
