[/blockquote][/blockquote]It was time to workout the grade 5 turf horses, the three were all front runners or predecers. It was going to be a fun time working these three. First on the track was the bay filly, we bought as a yearling. She was going really well and was a stalker, hopefully she goes in the gates nicely and don't go moody we wouldn't have a problem with her on the day. The second hose to come on the track was the black colt we bought as a three year old, he was doing really badly at first but luckily he was going well now thanks to the new training scheme we had. Lastly it was the horse we bought two months ago, he as been a real trouble to control in the field, and hopefully we more regular exercise on the track he would come around, we don't know much on his history only that his last trainer abandoned him. So it wasn't really the horse's fault really. Now all three of them were warming their muscles up while the gates were being checked.
Looking at the other runners, the field was big. Gates four and five were horses from Silver Stride Stable again. Gate four held a chestnut filly which was also front runner, her season this year have been pretty low, still she maybe the one to watch really carefully. Gate five held a bay filly which was another front runner, she is highly sprung looking filly and could be a type which lose her stamina quickly. Still she could be a one to watch. Gate six and seven were horses from Silver Perfection Stable. Gate six held a black colt and the brother to Dame, he was a closer and with a more consistent record, he was certainly the horse to keep an eye on the race, it would be really interesting to who would win the race. Gate seven held a dark bay colt which was another closer, and another potential danger. Gate eight held a dark bay colt from Close Racing Stable. He have got a good record, but maybe a threat on the day, but not enough to be stalked as much as the other horses in the field. Gate nine held a grey stallion from Oak Hill Farm, his five year season have started and it not as good as his previous record, but his experience on the track could fool everyone, so he needed to watched a little. Gate ten held a another bay filly from Star Thoroughbreds Stable, she was another preceder making this race day very interesting since half of the field are front runners or preceders. Her record is really amazing for a three year and certainly a potential threat and need to keep an eye on.
After checking the runners the plan of action were on. Since half of the field were mostly front runners or preceders, it was going to close race. The gates were ready for the horses to be loaded into them, and all of them went in smoothly, even Dame this time which was always worry with her. The gates sprung open and all of them broke cleanly and fast. Immediately Parallel Universe took the lead, while Dame and Shetan kept they distance and reserve they energy when the time was needed. Universe was still fighting with Sam and refusing to listen to him which was a pain in the butt all the time, Sam had enough with the attitude and gave him a tap on his rump and this got Universe to listen to him now. He started to hang back and come back to Dame and Shetan. Shetan was starting to make his move which he always does around the quarter of mile turn now. The horses didn't change their positions for while, until the final turn was come and all the horses started to give they stride out. Legs were stretching more and even Universe was breaking solidly now. Three horses were fighting for the lead and the line was crossed by all three the same time, if it was an actual race then it would have taken a photo finished to determined the winner. The race was ready and they were all fire up to take it on.
