Hey, the name's Aiden. Aiden Smith. I am a twenty-one year old jockey for Triple Krown Racing. I dropped out of college to follow my passion to be a jockey and so far it's been really working out for me. I have decided to become a journalist for TKR considering that I was studying journalism in school and plus a bunch of other stables seem to be making their own Newsletters so why not? Sounded fun so I thought I'd give it a shot.
So lately, some of our horses, including our G5 filly, Terror Smile have been improving greatly. This is the filly's four year old season this year and so far she's been doing amazingly. She currently has won a race, placed, and showed in all her total three races this season. This is what Hailey Levine, owner and trainer of the filly has to say about her preformance after her show in the Exhilration Stakes, "She has been doing really good for us ately. Even better than she was in her first race this season. She was beaten by Brave Angel (owned by Gelli Aur Stables) in that race and yet she just came back to beat the same horse. To get even better, Smiles ran against some high class horses such as Naturally Charismatic (owned by Star Thoroughbreds). I really think she's capable of something great." I am actually the regular jockey for Terror Smile and let's say I was pretty determined to outrun Brave Angel in the Stakes... So I am pretty satisfied.
Speaking of Naturally Charismatic, we have taken on a two year old colt of our own, by The Natural. The Rising hasn't been particularly good as a racehorse but he also is quite unseasoned only having two workouts in eight starts. Let's here what Hailey has to say about this colt. "I believe he has a lot of talent. He might even be a Kentucky Derby contender as a three year old but I don't want to be jumping ahead of myself before he runs a race with us."
Well you heard it first!
