The Return
A renewed presence has been felt on the tracks on the GHF tracks.
Intrepid Racing, Inc. (formerly Imperial Glory Studs [IGS]) has made another appearance once again. With the close of Y11 around the corner, they have yet to make a grand re-entrance, but with the fresh beginnings of Y12 around the corner there should be a sense of expectation from this long, established stable.
Current String
Once a large string, Intrepid Racing, Inc. has slimmed down their ranks in order to give quality attention to each of these amazing horses. [click images for stats]The Innocent Skier
This four year old colt is by Jet Ski out of GHF HOF Little Miss Innocent. He is a new addition to the string as a recent purchase from Stride of Perfection Stables. He is a G4 turf runner and though he's one of our older race horses, we are confident that in Y12 we can improve his standings here at the GHF Turf Track. This three year old colt is in his prime. He has a love for both tracks, and is currently running G5. IR Inc, is confident that he will pull up through the ranks in Y12. He has an 80% placing rate and really all he has is to go up. He hasn't been overly raced, so this boy is probably the freshest three year old out on the tracks, a huge advantage. He is a half-sibling to Santana through his dam, Vintage. Santana was a big stakes winner here on GHF and other outer circuits. His sire Oddside, is a proven sire, FS Mockingbird who is a BC runner. Oddside's bloodline descends from Spotted By a Star (a proven sire and Twilight stakes winner) and Stormwing (a demi-legend and proven G1 racehorse (3rd in BC and won Twlight stakes) and dam. We hope that this boy will meet with success here on the GHF tracks and bring an infusion of new blood as well.
Cosmic Warfare
Cos is an intelligent colt. At three years old he is running Maiden, but recently came close to breaking it, placing 2nd in Y11 Stormy Night Maiden. He is a turf runner through and through, his sire FS Waylay Attack was an MHS Turf BC Winner. His dam, Starbucks never made it to the tracks, but comes from proven outside lines, his grand-sire being Spotted By a Star (a sliver stable legend). We hope to have his Maiden broken before the end of Y11 and will be a huge turf competitor in Y12.Seeking Stardom
This quirky two year old is making her late debut into the GHF Race world. Sired by Spotted By a Star (Twilight Stakes Winner) and out of Regency (Dam of Murder Afire - BC Juvy Winner and Dawn Treader Cup Winner, and Lyrick (dam of ARD's Thunderstrike) this young filly has a lot going for her. Though cold and indifferent off the track, she is all fierceness and focused on the track. We eagerly await the results from her first maiden and hope she'll be ready to aggressively compete come Y12Predator
Predator is our only other two year old here at IR. Inc. He is a fierce horse. He has no past, his papers unknown..He is a true terrible mystery. What isn't a mystery though is his foul temper. Others turned this colt away thinking he'd never be tame enough to run with other horses, but IR. Inc. is known for being able to take the hot-tempered horses and channel their energy into the winner's circle. He has already run his first maiden here placing 2nd against some serious competition. We're hopeful to break his maiden soon and are eager to prove that with hard work and determination and natural raw talent that this big guy will go places.
Intrepid Racing, Inc. is back in the game and already the Y12 foal crop holds some hidden surprises with upcoming foals. Though they are re-establishing themselves, they are not to be discounted and overlooked here on the GHF Race Tracks.
