Stable News - October Week 1, Y11
You may be wondering why you've seen us in action, but not in the media so much lately. Well that's because we've flat out refused to speak to those pesky reporters. We've even had to call the police a few times to get them removed from our property! Can you believe some idiot climbed into Akuma Battlecry's pasture? The guy was nearly trampled to death. Akuma doesn't take intruders nicely..
Speaking of Akuma Battlecry, we're pleased to announce that two of his sons graded up recently! Sunset Crusade hit grade one after scoring his tenth win of the season in the El Sol Del Mar Memorial Stakes, in which he was up against stable mate Bank On Greatness and fellow three year old Flashy Wings. Two year old colt Euphoria's Warrior hit grade four after winning in the nine strong and older field of the Over The Rainbow Stakes. We're so very proud of our boys and we can assure you you'll be seeing them in the winner's circle again very soon!
As for our other horses, Vindictive Fury recently won for the tenth time this season, in just eleven starts! This amazing mare is finally showing what Rising Fury foals are made of, and you'll certainly be seeing her win again soon. Our incredibly filly Born To Soar recently won the G1 Universal Cup! Then she went on the win in the Alot To Live Up To Stakes two weeks later, bringing her record for the season to 15-8-6-1. Expect to see her in the winner's circle again very soon!
Indian Delight is another horse of ours to grade up recently. In the Autumn Cup, Indie scored his win into grade one and subsequently went on to race in the Universal Cup, which had been one of our goals for him. He came in third, but considering he was up against his own stablemate Born To Soar, and had to contend with having a different rider, we were happy with the result. Our sprinter stallion Here's The King, who is half brother to one of his regular competitors, Pegasus Wings, recently got his fifth win of the season in the Alot To Live Up To Stakes. We can already assure you you will be seeing this boy in the Breeder's Cup Sprint again last year (and remind you that he won it last year xD).
Euphorion reminded us all who he is last month when he won two of three runs. The colt beat out older competition for wins in the Garnet Stakes and Alot To Live Up To Stakes, and came a close second in the Climax Cup. Don't fret, we're sure you'll see him in the winner's circle again soon! Strike A Pose has wowed us all in recent weeks, going from Grade five to grade three after an impressive winning streak. The filly's record now stands at 30-8-7-7 and we can assure you she's not about to slow down!
After Dusk is the last of our horses we'll talk about for now, but rest assured the others are doing great as well! Dusty here is our two year old dirt sprinting filly, half to Sunset Crusade and by Beyond The Limits. She recently hit grade four after winning the Eagle Cup!
That's it for now, keep an eye out for our next news announcement as we'll likely announce our definite entries for the Breeder's Cup!
