Speculation on Akita Rose Stables' disappearing act from the GHF Circuit for over a year ranged from rumors of bankruptcy, pregnancy, drugs to the death of the owner Kirsten Jade. All rumors had been false however no one really knew the reason for their disappearance. Now after a year and a half the stable is back with their original champions fit and ready to race. So what did happen?
This reporter can safely say that bankruptcy was for sure not the case as they still have all their horses. An insider had finally confirmed that the reason was more personal than that. Our source says that two of Akita Rose's top jockeys Aaron Phillips and Melanie Mackenzie did indeed have a intimate fling that resulted in another pregnancy for the rebellious younger sister of Kirsten Jade Desorcy. Melanie has been known to be the "friendly girl" of the racetracks. Six years ago Melanie had been fired from Akita Rose Stables due to her "friendliness" around the Fathom Racetrack that had resulted in her first pregnancy. The father of the five year old Benjamin is unidentified. Curious onlookers have seen Aaron and Melanie with their son a week ago. Sources tell us that they witnessed the couple fight over the child and seen Aaron walk away with the child. (breaking through.) Will the pair be able to put their differences aside to race side by side or will they continue to cause drama for the owner of ARS? We will soon find out.
