Candid Silver and Sam Morgan
It was that time again of working the entire stock. The schedule was up and all the jockeys were told. First one to be out this morning was Sam Morgan with the new grey filly we took on from Silver Stride Stables. She have experience on the track, but needed some more push to make into a champion. Sam was prefect to turn any horse around, as he was the aggressive jockey we have got. Checking his girth, Sean looked at him. She needs the full workout track, run her like she is in a race. Let's see what she have got, Sam nodded and turned the filly towards the dirt track and breeze for few minutes as the gates were getting ready. Pretty soon they were ready and Sam slowed the filly down to a trot and made sure she saw the gate. Silv whinnied a little and reared the same time, Sam quickly stopped this and pushed her forward, and soon enough she calmed down. The handler came and tired to get her into the gate, but the filly's stubborn streak was noted and she refused to move, Sam smartly gave her tap and she evenutally hopped in without a fuss. There good girl
The gates sprung open five seconds later and the filly broke cleanly and cantered along the rail in a smooth canter, allowing her stride to get settled. Sam wanted to see what the filly had, so he lightly pushed her a little more just have more speed. Silvi responded knowing not to mess with Sam, and her legs spread far apart as more speed began to release from her body. The final turning was coming now and Sam pushed the filly more, wanting her release the entire speed to this part of the race, Silvi responded and began to make her move, she was creeping towards the ivesiable leader with her, and stride by stride she took the lead. Sam kept on pushing her, giving her encouragement and soon the line was cross, and Sean was quite impressive as he stopped the watch.
Sam pulled the filly up gently and trotted her towards Sean and stood by him. She put up a bit of a fight by the gates, but soon knew who was the boss. She have incerable speed if she leash out like she did in the workout sir He said to him, You did good Sam, cool her off and get on your next mount. Sam nodded and walked the filly couple of times, before handing her to the groom and went to his next ride.
