MARISSA STAR AND NATURE'S DREAM

The chestnut colt was really full of himself today. He pranced and danced, and bounced rather than trot. Marissa didn't mind. This colt was already one of her favourite horses to ride because he was such a sweetheart and just couldn't bare to lose. He was Nature's Dream, by The Natural and out of Dare To Dream. Both Hall Of Fame inductees. She was under instruction to get the colt used to the track, and find him a little bit of competition. Only two year olds, preferably colts, on the turf. He was due to run his very first race on the turf in a weeks' time.

<sup>Becky rode the exotic colt out onto the track. They stood out among the racehorses, indefinitely. He was even more noticeable than a white thoroughbred. Who would have ever thought that a skewbald thoroughbred would be a racehorse? Becky knew that he would be one of the best though. He was so competitive and loved to run with all his heart. He pranced onto the track, which was different considering his usual laid back disposition. She patted his neck and searched the track. What he needed was a good workout partner...

Becky spotted a strangely familiar colt although she was sure that she'd never seen him before. She kicked Kosoku into a trot towards him and his rider. She looked over his jockey, recognizing her as Marissa Star. Star Thoroughbreds. She stopped Kona in front of the pair. "Hey. Your Marissa Star, right? I'm Becky Andrews from Triple Krown Racing..." She added her own introduction, knowing that no one really knew who she was yet. She gave a friendly smile as she looked over the colt that Marissa was riding. She then realized why the chestnut looked so familiar. He had the same looks as The Rising or Furious By Nature. "Besides the chestnut coloring... He looks alot like a The Natural foal. Am I right?" She smiled at Marissa. She was almost a hundred percent sure of it.</sup> [/blockquote]
