Top Sires of January Y12, GHF Edition

According to some statistics gathered by the ever elusive Frosty, the progeny of some sires truly shone this month! Below is a record of the races won by all SIM bred horses during the month of January on GHF. According to this record, we have a couple of sires to celebrate and recognize this month.

First of them all is Cryin Out Loud. Three of this stallion's two year olds all broke their maidens in fashion this month. Formerly an unproven sire, Cryin Out Loud is certainly proving his worth and may be worth a couple of your mares next season to his foal's prodigious early talent. His winning foals were Sophie's Voice, Tears of an Angel and Tears of Blood.

However, Cryin Out Loud's progeny record is tied by Hall Of Fame stallion Speed Demon. Speed Demon also had three wins from his progeny this month. This stallion's first progeny have certainly been making a splash. Mastermind, one of his youngest, has certainly been burning the track, with two wins on the GHF track this month. His other two foals are Popcorn Blitz, his oldest, and another two year old, Speed Rush. Already worth looking at because of his racing credentials, now Demon is proving himself as a sire of quick racehorses.

Only one other horse tied the win record this month and that was Impressario. From his first crop of foals, three of the four have already broken their maidens in style. Ventura and Born To Impress took the Legacy Dirt and Turf Maidens in week three. Then the next week Italian Ice proved her dominance with a win in the Unicorn Horn Juvenile Dirt against both of them, with Ventura second and Impress third. These three two year olds are rock solid stars in the making and it looks as though Ario will be as great a producer as his sire.

There were also two other sires who scored two wins each; Night Stalker with Eternal Phantom and Silverianna and Grand Silence with Worldbreaker and Silent Fury.

Cryin' Out Loud certainly has proven himself this month, and hopefully his offspring will continue to perform well throughout the year. When we purchased him following the blow up at VGS we had hope but this is definitely a stud to watch!

I actually remember creating him for a random sale xD Glad to see he's making something of himself lol!
