With the news of several very impressive foal batches already released in the gallop, we at Silver Stride Stables have decided to release information on some of our own foals! Be warned, however - we have a rather large crop which stands at fourteen weanlings. Here, we have some of our biggest hopes.
Barely A Sound is expected to be quite the impressive little firecracker, being bred from two powerful grade one dirt horses. His sire, Barely A Moment of Stride Of Perfection Stables had quite the reputation on the dirt while his dam Strictly Speaking was also one to watch. Barely A Sound is expected to be a strong dirt racer, running around nine to twelve furlongs on the dirt. His siblings include Strictly Royal; a grade four racer owned by Triple Krown Racer and two year old War Cry who recently beat Sizzling Dawn in the Follow The Hoofprints Dirt.
Next, we have Fallen Glory - a foal which comes strictly from Star Thoroughbreds lines. She is sired by Bank On Glory and out of the mare The True Fallen For. Bank On Glory was a strong dirt racer, winning twenty-one races while on the track while The True Fallen For also reached grade one with fourteen wins. Looking past her parents, Fallen Glory is related to horses such as Bank On Silver, Armidale, True Enough and the triple crown champion, Impressario among others. Headed for the dirt tracks, it is hoped this filly will make a strong Triple Tiara contender.
Impress The Moonlight sees the merging of two powerful Stride Of Perfection Stables bloodlines. Sired by Impressario, and out of Moondance she has some truly outstanding bloodlines. Her sire won the triple crown while both of her parents claimed victory in the Breeder's Cup Classic. Of course, Impressario was also the only horse to have ever claimed four Breeder's Cup races during his career. Impressario's first crop of foals started their careers this season and have been doing very well.
Silver Prince comes from some very impressive lines and is expected to be at his best around a mile on the dirt. He is sired by the Hall Of Fame stallion, Royal Red Richard and out of Silver Stalker . His relatives include Here's The King, Pegasus Wings and Night Stalker. If Silver Prince lives up to the performance of his bloodlines he should be an incredibly strong racer.
Siren Call is a filly who we have high hopes for, if she is anything like her siblings. She is sired by Shiver Me Timbers, the Stride Of Perfection Stables stallion who has sired horses such as Buccaneer, Prideful Limits, and two year old Aquatic Addiction who has just won the Follow The Hoofprints Dirt Mile at The Wire track. Her dam, Blood Of the Angel, has become quite well known because of her first foals - twins Tears Of An Angel and Tears Of Blood who have both reached Grade Four. She will be a dual surfaced sprinter.
Starbright was purchased from Stride Of Perfection Stables at the beginning of this year, a colt who will run between nine and twelve furlongs on dirt just as his full sister Moondance did. He is sired by Dancing In The Moonlight and out of the mare Foolish Entity which means he is related to horses such as Foolish Lad, On To The Spotlight and Dancing In The Firelight. If he takes after his sire, or his siblings, he is destined for some great things.
Black Magic is a colt with some very strong lines. He is sired by Warlock, a grade two stallion who himself was sired by the triple crown champion War Admiral. Warlock is the sire of the twins, Beltane and Axis Mundae who have been very strong sprinters come milers. His dam is No Wonder, a mare who was sired by Merry Bay King. She didn't do too well on the track herself but having the lines she does has some strong potential as a brood mare. Mage is her first foal.
Born Free is one of twins, with his sister being owned by Serendipity Hills. Sired by the grade one stallion Impassioned Wind and out of the Hall Of Fame mare, The True Nut, he should be a very strong turf racer. We expect that he will run between nine and twelve furlongs on the turf, and could be a Turf Triple Crown contender.
Finally, White Noise is a colt who we expect to have real flair on the track if his siblings are anything to go by. He is sired by the sprinting stallion, Cryin' Out Loud who reached grade one and out of Cry Out Chaos. Cryin' Out Loud is the sire of several very impressive horses which have just come onto the track as two year olds - all of which have already broken their maidens. White Noise is expected to run between five and eight furlongs on dirt.
We are very excited about seeing these horses on the track!
