We have just received news that the legendary Night Stalker has been gelded at last. Kirsten commented saying that after last season's accident where Stalker had taken a few mares in the paddocks she has been looking forward for the day where she doesn't have to worry about that problem anymore.

"Night Stalker had been bred for the last time this past breeding season to a mare at Intrepid Racing Inc. Don't ask me who because I can't say! Now he has been gelded and put into retirement." There we have it. Intrepid Racing Inc. has been confirmed in having the very last Night Stalker foal to be born in Y13.

Night Stalker is sire to many great champions such as: HOFamer grade one Sweet Stalker, grade two Knight Rousseau, grade one Silver Stalker, grade one Silverianna, Carmilla, Stalker's Fury, champion twins Eternal Phantom and Midnight Thriller, juvenile GM Halloweentown, and youngstock My Man O' War, Fleet Street, Nocturnal Runaway, and Saintly Touch.

Queen of Hearts is dam to grade one Fleet Goddess, grade one Limitless Time, grade one Dark Sunrise, Heartless Revenge, grade three Sugar Jayde, juvenile A Royal Legacy, and weanling My Man O' War.

Ripley Marsh: I am not sad to see this great stud go into retirement. His bloodlines and less-than-perfect temper are evident in all of his foals. Honestly, Night Stalker has been one of the turn of the century studs in the filly department. I can't wait to see how his colts end up turning out. There has not been a greater stud in my opinion. He may not have produced hall of famers, yet, but has there been one so consistent? I think not.
