[/size]It was such an amazing thing to see baby foals grow up so fast. All the handlers at Bowen Acres were out today to actually see how the young foals would do without their dams with them. Though, they had left Flashing the Declaration with his Dam because he was still somewhat young. In a couple more months they would let the young colt run freely from his dam but, right bow they were focused on the older foals at the moment.
Nina Delgracy one of the younger handlers had brought out Noah's Radiance first a bay colt sired by Grade One Stallion Radiance out of Noalla. Radiance won quite a few incredible races like the Y7 Breeder's Cup Juvenile, Y9 Breeders Cup Classic, Y8 Belmont Stakes, Y8 Breeder's Cup Marathon, and quite a few others. Noah as nicknamed looked like his Sire and of his Grand-sire HoF True Enough. Noah is a well behaved colt with a bit of a playful nature he grew to be Nina's favorite with a star on his forehead the colt would live up to his name. He was already used to the halter and he never gave a fight but, he is very energetic. "I'm sure Noah will do fine all by himself Ange just look at him." She said then setting him loose out in the paddock.
"I'm sure he will be he was the first born foal at our stables it's his Dam I'm worried about...Right behind you." She said looking forward towards the two. Angela had Queen's Honesty in her grasp. The filly was urging to go back into the stall with her Sire being the daughter of Truth be Told out of Royal Perfection she was also a granddaughter of Hall of Fame Inductee Royal Red Richard. Her Dam resided at Star Thoroughbreds. "It's okay girl I promise your gonna be fine shh...Calm down Q it's okay." She said urging the young filly to move along.
The newest Handler Steven who was rather very quiet brought out Passionate God a son to Tempered Passion out of Dark Goddess. Both of his parents seemed to have nasty attitude's and Nate wasn't going to let some human just pull him away from his dam so easily. He yanked and pulled but, seeing the two others in front Nate decided to trust the humans in his care and follow. Nate was being carefully watched over in the future races only because his dam never broke her maiden due to being overly aggressive. The staff hoped he would not take after that trait.
"Calm him down a bit Steven we don't need a loose foal running away especially that one." Kevin Mack said a nephew to the stable owner. He was holding the stables newest addition StarFire the daughter to Bucephalus a half brother to Triple Crown Winner Admiral's Revenge. Her dam, Fly High Silver was pretty impressive as well. She was rather small for a Thoroughbred foal but, she would show it in future times. Sparx had an amazing temperament and so even without her parents she was already doing fine.
With all the foals released into the paddock this would be their first time away from their dam's completely. It would be from now on these foals would be weaned from their mothers and to start immediately training to become the next top racehorses. Noah's Radiance was a little taller then the others that was only because he was the oldest foal in the stables. Nina watched him from aside as her foal pranced with joy but, was still looking around for his dam.
The others seemed to freak out more a little frightened for the fact that they were away from their safe havens. Angela could hear both Dark Goddess and Noalla whinny for their foal but, they knew that this time would come. "They will all run in the prospects next year or in just about 4 or 5 months. All of us needs to decide where we want them to run on Green Horse Fields or on The Wire. Queen's Honesty will run here and maybe some on The Wire." Angela said waiting for the other handlers to decide so they can go give their ideas to the stable owner.
"Well they all have chances to win on both tracks. I say their Prospect season they should be on both tracks that way both tracks will get familiar with them." Nina said leaning over the fence but just lightly. These foals were beautiful to look at and would have a mean kick out there on the tracks. The boys just remained quiet while Angela nodded her head with an agreement to Nina.
"Good point. Fine both tracks for Prospects but, then we give Samantha our list for who should run here and on the Wire when they reach 2 years old got it." She said with a smile. This was much practice for the foals and now they would have their own individual stalls away from their dams. And they would begin their training soon enough to become great racehorses. They grabbed their leads and entered the paddock getting the foals.
They were each getting taller but some taller then others the shortest of the group was StarFire but, she would have speed for such a small Thoroughbred. Walking them back to their own new stalls waiting for Year 13 to arrive. These foals will be amazing and they would make everyone proud.
