Breeders Cup Speculations

<sub>While I know exactly where I want to send my ponies for the Year Twelve Breeders Cup, except for possibly two. I have wondered how deep the fields will look like. And I am betting they will be rock solid fields if this year's racing has proven anything. A Triple Tiara winner, a near Turf Triple Crown winner, three horse splitting the Triple Crown, and older horses continually duking it out on the race track. Not to mention the amount of glorious two year old performers we have on the race track. I myself am looking forward to these races, simply because the level of competition is always so strong, particularly this year. With it nearing November, we can pretty much say for certain who is going to the Breeders Cup and who is not.

I will break the races down individually with horses that I believe are definitely going and who the favorites will be. Some horses will be listed twice.

Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf:
Bella Luna (WCS), Innocent Passion (SOPS), Night Goddess (IRS), Calamity Queen (STB), Mini Monstorm (ARS), Passion Heart (BAS). The favorite will be Nightshade.

Breeders Cup Filly and Mare Sprint:
Lynara's Kingdom (SOPS), Georgie's Girl (STB), After Dusk (STB), Seraphim (STB), Beltane (SSS). The favorite will be Lynara's Kingdom.

Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies:

Breeders Cup Juvenile Sprint:

Breeders Cup Marathon:

Breeders Cup Turf Marathon

Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf:

Breeders Cup Classic:

The Juvenile Fillies field is looking to be rock solid. We've got such a talented bunch this year! But the Filly and Mare Turf will be the real battleground. It's kind of scary. So much drama! And I think another dinner bet should be in the mix, hmmm? The Ladies Classic also looks interesting, a clash between past and present Triple Tiara champions. Not sure if Falsehood will make the favorite grade for the Dirt Mile, if he goes there. He does have the experience over the distance, but Knight Rousseau has been exceedingly impressive this year and the other entrants, particularly Winning Touch, will be tough.

But stay tuned! Yet to plan absolutely everything out. Though I am writing a post regarding this as I type xD
