Lets get things happening!

Hey guys,

I know we're all busy but please at least make the effort to log in everyday. Even if you can only get on for ten minutes - that would be better than nothing. I can't be bothered getting on and doing boring stuff like updating the leaderboards if no one is even getting on to notice! By the way, the rules don't lie. if you're not logging in and racing your horses they will be reclaimed.. I have already done some reclaiming and deleting recently.

TW staff members - It would be fantastic if someone could step up and keep things going there. This will have to be the last time we wait for TW to catch up.

Things To Do
- Make up a regular column in The Gallop! Whether it be stable news or reporting on the Triple Crown contenders, it is fun to write and interesting to read

- Do joint workout threads! Character interaction threads! We have a board where you can post roleplays that are not workouts. If you find your workouts are lacking something (like mine, lol), get a romance going between some of your characters. Plot it out if you need to.

- Advertise us! We have a rewards program thing so if you post 25 or so ads, you can choose a prize in the form of a distance extension or whatever

- Run a contest! Word search, cross word, guess the horse, etc.


Don't stress about getting workouts in for every race. If we all judge less on workouts and more on racing style and other important stuff, then we will all have more fun GHF is not supposed to be hard work. It's supposed to be fun! You can't win every time, and not every horse will be a champion. In the real world, a lot of horses never make it to their first race because they are simply not fast enough. Many others are just good enough to only win low level races. Few actually make it to the top, and fewer will ever be inducted in the Hall of Fame. So lets stop taking things so serious and have fun!

BTW I am going away this weekend to celebrate my 21st birthday so after I post this probably won't get on much until Sunday

I am trying my best to get on and get things going both here and on TW. Please stick through the activity slump guys, we can get through this. Busyness is affecting everybody, but at least try to get on and keep things going on the weekends. Bored? Sarah's suggestions are great ones, especially the Gallop column. You can absolutely run away with that.
