Personality: Pirate is calm in the stall though don't be fooled with this as he would crush you in the walls, if he thinks he can get away with it. He needs to know you are serious and that he can't rule over you. Fear is something you shouldn't show towards this stallion. Other horses is sweet and wouldn't bully them, though he enjoys some rough play. Pirate can be stubborn and wouldn't do what is ask of him, due to this an experienced jockey which can give him a ride and challenge through the trick which this stallion would throw at them. Like all stallions, when a mare is in the scene he loses his concentration and rather mess with them instead of doing his training sessions, due to this he is always worked on his own and early in the morning where no mares are in sight. Even with all these traits he works hard to win and try his best to please his ride who ever it may be.
On the Track
Now this where the stallion gets to business. He knows when he going on the track and would whinny loudly, making sure everyone hears him. Pirate is quick to get in the gate and he can be slightly impatient in times and would play up in the gate, by thrashing his head around. When the gates spring open, he would bolt out of them like lighting. Pirate is quick and very dominating on the track, and he always make sure he is in the lead of the pack. Pirate isn't stupid though, he would keep some of his stamina for the finish, while doing this he tricks the field that he is tiring, he keep this up for a quarter of a mile. Here is where he makes his move and sprints more and break away from the other racers, a heading for the finishing line and when it's over he expect to go to the winning circle, where they place flowers on his back.
