Personality: Marmalade is a bit of a scary cat. She is very spooky and would freak out at her own shadows, waving trees and plastic bags. Since wearing a hood during turnout she have been coping lot better in herself. Despite these problems she is very hyper filly and wants to run all the time. She was born to be on the track, and instead of grazing with the other horses, she would race with anything that passes the pasture. This would include the mailman, train and other horses which are racing on the track. She is also very attention seeker as well, and have known to play tricks on her grooms and rider, she would take her saddle cloth off her back and hide her brushes. Just so the people would be with her for longer.
On the Track
Marmalade loves to be on the track and would whinny loudly, knowing she is going to get on the track. She is very spooky around the rail due to the shadows, which is the reason she wears the sheepskin roll on the noseband. With this in place she have improved and just keeps on galloping. Marmalade was very fearful around the gates, but with extra training she overcome her fear in them. Her break is slow and she remains at the back of the pack, and she keeps at a steady place, not rushing at all. Each mile she would increase in a speed, and keep going faster and faster. Until she is in the middle of the pack, and along the outside. Marmalade doesn't care with the dirt being kicked in her face, she would keep on going, until finally she at the lead. Here is where she breaks, and give everything she have got, and showing she wants to win this more than anything. Finally she would cross the line, and wait for the special treatments to come.
