Meredith was back at the track and this time on different colt for that matter. This time she would be riding Get Loose, a son to Justa Muffin out of Loose Truth. The grey colt was ready for the Grade 5 races since his winning in the April Maiden Turf race. He is a gentle colt with some intelligence to hold himself high. The colt knew what he was suppose to do and Meredith would not argue with the colt. He was set to race this week in the August Turf Stakes so far against Ode to Glory and Lookin' Back Lucky. Their would be other racers she was sure of it but, at the moment it was just them on the field.
Get Loose was a turf classic distance runner. He was built for distances and was ready to take on big races in the future. The grey horse approached the track and started himself to a trot around the first turn of the turf tracks on Green horse Fields. Get Loose would need to be in strict races to reach for the top and Meredith was prepared to bring Ossie to that level. He was set to run this week and perhaps next month if necessary. He was only 2 years old and still had a lot of work to do.
The colt then sped off into the back stretch into a full gallop to feel the wind. Meredith lowered herself so she wouldn't fall off the colt. Ossie enjoyed running it was something he enjoyed to do in the paddocks back at the stables. When he passed the last furlong pole he extended to another gallop one much faster then before. Ossie was on a mission to win this race and would fight for the win. He would try out for the turf triple crown as a 3 year old and would need a lot of help to get there.
After passion the wire Ossie pranced to a slow as if he was happy about it. Meredith praised the colt gently and walked him off the track so any others wouldn't run him over. Ossie shook his head before the two headed back to the stalls until race day would begin.
