[/size]Nature Blue Stables had acquired another yearling in their stables one with another relation to one of their own horses. Mason was assigned to the new filly named Jazzasoleil as her potential trainer for her entire racing career. The dark bay yearling was brightly joyful. Today, Mason would train her on he new horse shoes she was recently placed with. He didn't want her to trip or have an injury in her future races. He placed the reins on the filly and praised her as she was calm throughout the whole thing.
"Easy there girl your new shoes might be a little heavy that's what I'm here for." He said as he began to walk Jazza through the stables nice and slow hearing the echoing of the clicking hooves on the stony ground beneath her hooves. Jazzasoleil moved a little wobbly at first but, she was smart for her age and picked up each foot carefully and steadily until Mason pulled her to the grassy plains of the stables. Mason held her close and stopped her right after the stable doors. He rubbed her nose softly before she snorted out.
Jazzasoleil was entered into her very first prospect race this September week. Next Top Racehorse was coming up and she was entered into it with open hearts. She would be entered against Pandora an Impressario filly, Nature Blue's own Dragonheart who was sired by HoF Everyday Hero, Brain Trust, and Ultimate Revenge a son by Admiral's Revenge. This field was full of incredible bloodlines and there were a few Hall of Fame bloodlines in this prospect race and Jazza had a lot to go through.
Mason then pulled her to walk upon the dirt to test her how she would walk. She had been doing extremely well and Mason examined her carefully. She had already knew the saddle and bridle but, new shoes were always difficult. He moved the filly to the hot walk station and began to hot walk her in a circle so she could exercise her legs and to wear down the shoes a tad bit. She seemed to be calm and gentle which meant a good sign. Training was not easy for such a large animal but, some horses were trainable if they wanted to be.
