[/size]The end of the year is almost up as September hits already. With a mild investigation from reporter Amelia Grant has passed through almost most of the stables that is acquainted with Green Horse Fields. Amelia was watching what new blood will be hitting the tracks next year as Yearlings and Green Horse Fields will have to watch out for.
Weanlings will be starting their Prospect year in 2014 as yearlings and it appears we will have a variety of rivalries to siblings racing against each other. So as Amelia states this as the Weanlings to Yearlings to watch out for coming Y14 please take a look as we are shaking in out clothes of what's to come.
First up we have Witch Creek Stables, they are a well accomplished stable with many great lined horses. We have gotten word that a bay colt will make his debut next year and the lines he comes from might be a good match. That's right the bay colt we found as named Uno Momento is growing fast. This colt is by well known sire Barely a Moment and out of El Sol Del Mar. This colt will certainly need to be watched as his both of his mother and father are G1 horses. El Sol Del Mar is also an Inducted Hall of Famer and has proven herself as a broodmare. Uno Momento is expected to run distances on dirt tracks. This colt seems like he will be trouble on the tracks and should definitely be watched carefully.
Next is another fine stable that had just recently made it back to the tracks of Green horse fields and The Wire and that is Intrepid Racing Inc. Amelia had found that they have a Merry Bay King colt with spectacular lineage that even has us wanting to know this colt. As we continued our investigation we found the colt to be named Natural Selection. This colt literally comes from a family of Hall of Famer's. He is sired by Merry Bay King out of Wildly Natural, who is also inducted into the Hall of Fame. This colt is a turf baby and seems to look like he will be taking on the Turf Triple Crown. We believe this colt will definitely give other stables a run for their money.
Stride of Perfection Stables is pretty well known around here. As they own many horses known here their Y14 crop is looking pretty good. They have quite a few weanlings to become Yearlings coming Y14 but the one that strikes our interest is a colt by the name of Incognito sired by HoF True Enough out of The Devil's Touch. This colt is beyond scary as he will be running on dirt tracks and for distances. This colt seems to have the potential already and we look forward to seeing what he can do.
Up next is Nature Blue Stables. Now don't get us wrong they have some pretty interesting weanlings to yearlings in their stables. But, only one gives us the chills. As the other stables seem to have colts to do damage in the future they have a filly and not just any filly. She is a daughter to MHS Triple Crown Winner Admiral's Revenge out of Dashing in the Firelight. They call her Admiral's Lady and for good reasons. She is very much like her sire and a stubborn girl indeed. She will be a distance runner on dirt surfaces and word has it she will be taking on the Dirt Triple Crown or even the Triple Tiara. This filly is as mean as her sire desire's and should definitely be watched.
Then we have Star Thoroughbreds and it looks like we have an interesting foal to come. They have a filly with an interesting look. As they seem to keep their results for their horses a secret we know this...This filly is named Moonlight Crusade and she is sired by Sunset Crusade out of Moondance. This filly certainly will have faces looking her way. We can assume the filly will take on her mother's challenge but, no one but Star Thoroughbreds knows the real truth.
We are excited to see these weanlings become yearlings and make it to their racing debut's. These horses are spectacular and we can't wait to see them in action. It will certainly be a battle of the bloodlines.
