NATURE BLUES WEEKLY
Horses to watch
So, as Nature Blues has progressed we thought it would be best to write a few articles that might seek interest to others. This article will represent horses at Nature Blue Stables that others should watch for also to give some publicity to the horses. Every horse in this category are special to Nature Blues. And with that said.
Let's start with the juveniles as they seem to be limited for Nature Blues this year. We know its late in the season but, some of these horses may just surprise you just like one filly named Reflected in Water. Sound familiar? Yes, this horse is sired by Radiance out of Cry Out Chaos. This filly has been shooting for victories recently and she is just one race away to becoming a Grade 4. She won three races so far in just under one month. These races to her name include the July Maiden Dirt, the ORCHID CUP FILLIES*, and the Missile Stakes. This filly is at the top of her game already and as a juvenile that's pretty good on our part. She is definitely proving her lines well coming from lines such as HoF inductee True Enough and Palisades Silver.
Next up is well not in the juvenile rankings but as a three a year this colt is beyond reasoning with. We all know him as GS Super Charged nicknamed Ben. He is by Admiral's Revenge out of Sonata and has well proven lines. He has moved up the ranks slowly but with his win at the Novisio Derby at the Wire by 4 lengths means this colt means business and he has plenty to show you in the following year. It is said he may be seen in the Breeders cup next year with the training and workouts properly given to this colt. This is one of our favorite horses that's for sure and was ranked in 5th place for Best 3YO Colt as a Divisional Leader. He has proven to stay in the top of his game and it won't be the end for this colt not yet.
Now to our senior groups as we have two Stallions romping the grounds to victory or soon to be victories. After long meetings and conversations Nature Blues decided to keep Gamble on Peace in the racing barn where he will then retire in late December early January. Gamble on Peace is a G3 Sprinter and a very good one indeed. He was in his prime last year having six wins in just under 5 months but, adding on his single win as a two year old he has 7 wins in total. He will be racing the senior sprint preps coming in October and this stallion will not back down from his prime. Our next senior is the very own The Rising. This stallion is also a G3 stallion, he is sired by HoF Inductee The Natural out of Warm Wishes. He was once owned by Witch Creek Stables and Nature Blue Stables hopes this stallion will play nice with his new team leaders.
The Rising has 6 wins this year in total and where he seems fairly known on the wire tracks he is just getting introduced to Green Horse Fields tracks as well. He takes on both tracks and both surfaces and will be seen running in October on the wire as planned. We also have rumor of his retirement he will be bred to Carmilla if all goes as planned.
We are certainly proud for these horses and can't wait to see how they will do these following weeks. Our major horse to watch this season or for the rest of the season is juvenile Reflected in Water she is a mean machine and should certainly not be under estimated.
