Stride of Perfection Stables is offering a premier horse for lease - Sizzling Dawn, the winner of the Year Thirteen Preakness Stakes, Risorgimento Derby and Careless Jewel Stakes. This grade one mare provides an unparalleled opportunity for stables lacking a high-performance dirt horse in their rosters. She can get you very far - the Breeders Cup Distaff at the end of the season in particular is perfect for this mare. She is nothing but quality upon quality. My current plans for her call for her to show up in the Summer and Autumn Dawn Treader Cups as well in some legs of the Senior Superstars series. This mare really excels at eleven furlongs.
The terms of the lease are as follows; I will give you Sizzling Dawn to work with for the remainder of the Year Fourteen racing season. At the conclusion of this year, she will be retired to my barn. However, you will have a breeding reserve to her that you can use at some point in the future. Her racing schedule is all up to you, the leasor, as well as her workouts and everything else.
There are many reasons why I am offering her for lease. The first is that I have too many dirt mares running around - Eternal Phantom, Sweet Inferno, Wish Upon A Star, Italian Ice and Battle Wings. As it is, I'm finding it extremely difficult to separate them all. By the end of the season, I would have had too many mares to give them equal opportunity at the Breeders Cup. So, I've decided that one of these mares must go, and I've chosen Sizzling Dawn.
This is a fantastic opportunity. Please reply below if you are interested, and I hope that many of you are because I would hate to retire this mare even earlier than planned.
