HORSES RETIRING IN Y15
The Staff of Nature Blues has been in talk on those to retire by the end of the year. After holding a conference, Nakita Rose and Samantha Mack decided that GS SuperCharged will finish off the rest of the year in hopes the stallion would level up to G1 making his sire Admiral's Revenge once again a G1 Producer. In other news Red Admiral, whom recently rejoined Nature Blues is set to retire at the end of the season. It is still in progress if they should retire Midnight Sun or race her for one more year.
Nature Blues one of first broodmares Heart of Stone, retires from her brood career after showing to much aggression towards her own foals. She is set to run freely in the pastures alongside other retiree gelding Iron Man. Heart of Stone is the dam of G5 Ruler's Secret, G4 Passion Heart, Rules of Passion, Excalibur's Stone, and Affirmed Knight. The staff thought it would be safer to keep foal and mother apart and retired the mare. Affirmed Knight will be watched carefully by staff.
DEATH BRINGS TEARS!
Early this morning, handler Angela Renzo did her early morning routine of looking after the breeding stock she found G5 stallion Black Legend laying breathless in his stall. The stallion was only 7 years old and after their veterinarian took an exam of the deceased body it seems Black Legend was suffering from lymphosarcoma, a form of cancer that attacked his lymph nodes and had been infecting his blood stream for quite awhile. The staff is very sad to know that this stallion will no longer be with them. He was the sire of twins Bonfire and Satana's Legend.
RADIANCE DAUGHTER WINS MOTHER GOOSE STAKES
The third week of May brought celebration to the staff of Nature Blues when Reflected in Water won a leg of the Triple Tiara. She won by a nose to proud favorite Battle Wings, Wishing for Heroine, and Everyday Smile. She had placed in the Acorn Stakes only to come back at the Mother Goose. With this win marks her victory into the ranks of G3. She also brings a name to both sire Radiance and dam Cry Out Chaos. She will try to prove more upon the last leg in June week 2 at the Coaching Club American Stakes where she will take on a heavier field and longer. Congrats Remi!!
