StarFire was at the knack of the high rode. She was a very stubborn filly given the gene from her sire indeed. She was more a filly to hang out with the company of colts then her own gender. Meredith Hently had the filly hot walking for a few minutes to relax her before going out to the tracks. The dark bay coat of Sparx was shiny with the sun. She placed a saddle on StarFire and headed out towards the track to see a familiar face walking out already on the track. StarFire pranced out lightly and glanced upon the palomino in front of her. "Hey Terri, I'm gonna take Sparx for at least 4 furlongs I want her to feel well rested when the race comes along." Meredith said getting her horse into position.
"Sounds good to me I may take Denza a little farther." Terri said Denza digging her hooves into the ground ready for action. Routers and milers had some small similarities but they could handle distance. They started out slow Denza rushing towards the start Sparx stalking her throughout the way. They galloped easily throughout the dirt track. Both were juveniles and both were stubborn to the core. Sparx flew like a comet when she stayed the palomino filly before she shook her head as she ran. Denza pounded the ground and rushed farther into the track.
It was just around the time where Sparx ended her dismay and Meredith looked forward when Terri looked back only to be waved at. Meredith slowed Sparx down which aggravated the filly but she followed her command and Denza busted out with more speed to finish her workout passed the wire. Meredith smiled hugging Sparx below her and was praying for the filly to finally beat her maiden status. Denza was a good path and she would be entering in the Triple Crown or the Tiara next year upon the training. Things were looking good for these fillies.
