NEW ADDITIONS TO THE TEAM
Most recently, GHF held a sell of reclaimed horses from old lines and unique lines. Angela Renzo took an effort and bought the delightful mare Gallant Queen, another True daughter mare Kiss the True Heart, and stallion Prancing in the darkness. They will become a great addition to the stud and broodmare barn to produce future champions.
NEWLY RANKED POSITIONS
With much notice and as expected GS SuperCharged made it to G1 with much promise. Chris Stevens who rides him is very happy with him. He recently also won his first G1 race, The Las Vegas derby on the wire against his aunt Bellefire. Also proud 3 year old Reflected in Water and Tears No More grade up to G3 after their most recent wins. Remi won the red mile an and set to race in the second leg of it. Congrats to our winners.
Y14 BEST BRED WINNER
In other news, once again another foal of Dashing in the Firelight wins the best bred tournament. That's right, light bay foal colt named Tuff E' Nuff wins the Classic Dirt weanlings against Wallflower, Proletariat and others. Fire's daughter Admiral's Lady won it last year and she is showing promise in the prospect region. Tuff E' Nuff is a son to True Enough and is expected to be a Triple Crown hopeful.
TAKING RESERVES
Come Y15 Nature Blues will be deciding to close their breedings for their top contender studs and mares instead, they will be focussing on new retiree's and give their new stock a chance. For some have noticed that Y15 Nature Blues foal crop will mostly contend to the Turf surface with only a few dirt racers or dual surfaced racers. When Y15 starts the reserve will start and they will only focus on the studs and mares whom are either new to the breeding barn or have been on a break. For instance, GHF is set to see some Imitation Black foals on the ground along with Ruler's Secret and some others. True Enough will be closed until Y17 to give the stallion a break. He will only have one foal Y15. The Underdog will only allow private offers due to his incredible lines.
