RAYA'S GENERAL JANUARY WORKOUT
JANUARY WEEK TWO
Noadiance was no longer the immature juvenile he once was in fact, now he had settled down his roots just a bit. While his hyper streak was still there he was ready for this day, Carlos approached him and Noah walked up to his jockey nudging him with his nose. The flag striped colt had a swell night and Carlos would walk him out to get saddled up and ready. Noah was the second son to Hall of Fame Inductee Radiance out of Noalla. Grand-Sired by legend True Enough also inducted into the Hall of Fame and Breeding Hall of Fame. The colt was to be inspired with his sweet nature he had a strong racing technique.
Lawrence soon came by following with Heart of Rio also Grand-Sired by True Enough these cousins would certainly be of good use. She was sired by Aces Diamond Rio and a known stallion around the tracks. Raya was a horse who enjoyed being in the middle of things she loved getting dirty and doing things the dirty way keeping her clean was a main issue for the filly and many hated it. She was new to Nature Blues but she was well mannered of the sorts.
Both horses walked towards the track like as Noah began to glimmer his eyes at the filly which made Carlos roll his eyes just a bit. "Not today Noah you do realize she is your cousin do you not?" He said patting Noah's shoulder blade before Samantha approached them both which put the two horses in a halt and Raya bobbing her head. "Alright boys let's keep this workout clean alright? Lawrence Raya's old owners mentioned she liked to pull through the distances so work on her stamina and keep her motivated. Carlos Noah pushes for that mile make sure when he gives you the go ahead you set him loose and let him work his magic no holding back this time." Samantha said now getting out of the way of the two horses.
Noah had been quite sure of himself proud and wise he wasn't like the moody horses within the Nature Blue quarters some say he shared his mannerisms with his Dam and others with his Sire, whatever the case Samantha was proud to have such an amazing animal. It was Noah that cheeked her interest in the True Enough lines the inspiring tale of the stallion legend. He was a special colt to Samantha and she wanted to see him and all the other horses within the stable do remarkable things.
Noah persuaded onto the track with a dancing gait before he listened to his jockey to head off into a steady gallop. Heart of Rio just watched as she gracefully followed behind the colt without question or concern. Lawrence followed her ways until it was time for him to take control and that was when it was needed not through force but then again that was how many of the jockeys were here. Raya could not care who rode her she would inspire others and race her heart out.
Noah started out towards the lead before brushing back to save the energy and stamina he had for the right moment. Raya was the mid-pack savvy filly who enjoyed taking her time and then crushing at the end. The two were in dead heat close to the final turn and brushed passed nicely at the wire with Raya only a whisker for the win. Noah surely liked to push and he would do so in a kind but professional manner.
