The Basics
Registered Name: Snap Daddy
Nickname: Snaps
Age: Two Years Old
Breed: Thoroughbred
Colour & Markings: Black
Height: 16.3
Gender: Filly
Personality: Snaps is by far the most laid back and easy going horse Blue Cross has ever seen. Had they not witnessed it themselves, they would have never thought her a race horse. The filly sleeps almost anywhere and everywhere, which includes in her trailer, where she sleeps through the entirety of the car ride. She sleeps in her stall, she sleeps in her paddock, and she has even been observed to doze off right before a race. While no one can really explain the phenomenon, it is surprisingly not harmful towards the filly's work ethic. She can be pastured with any horse, no matter how temperamental, as she really cares about absolutely nothing and can but up with even the most aggressive horses, and is surprisingly able to calm them down. She never appears to stress of fall prey to over excitement in the time before a race, an retains her cool deposition once the gates have released. She is surprisingly an attentive horse, who possesses an intuitive curiosity that Blue Cross takes advantage of. She has excellent rhythm and natural talent, and has a comfortably large, wide stride that fits her docile nature. She is not herself competitive, but is very attune to the feelings and emotions of her environment, and is very receptive to her jockey's urgings, which allows her to run and win competitive races. She is a great, easy ride, who never questions her jockey and obeys ever signal quickly and firmly. Sometimes she can get lazy, but quickly picks herself up when placed in situations of excitement and action.
