Kalahari never allows anyone to bully her, but neither does she attempt to dominate others. It is always a pleasure to ride and be in her company, most who meet her are left with quite an impression and a desire to improve themselves. Once you've met her eye, you know there is a strong spirit deep within her. Her movement is breathtaking on its own, her lovely collected strides are truly something to behold. If ever a horse could be a ballerina, it would be Kali. She inspires us every day. It was a shame she was never able to race, however we are eager to see where her life will go in the breeding world once she produces some foals.

Personality: Twista Luck is a tall and impressive mare, towering over many of her fellow herd mates. Twista has a knack for getting out of any circumstance, and she tends to get into quite a bit of trouble and into many entanglements, however she always seems to get out of it just in the nick. Often she is the culprit for a downed fence or a seemingly unmovable object knocked over, all without a scratch to her. She seems to be slightly larger boned than other mares, but that adds in her favor for her muscle size is larger. Often at first glance she might be seen as 'one of the boys', but she certainly is female once you get to know her. Tending to be more of a loner, Twista is more at home and at her most comfortable with just a few stable buddies and a favorite groom. She is not a high excitement mare, and often is our go-to girl to help the younger ones calm down at their first few races. Being so calm and collected, she isn't fazed by the scenery or noises of workout days or race tracks, and takes a lot in her own stride. We are very pleased with her willing nature and ease of which she handles stress. With luck, her foals will get her nice temperament with a dash of her ability to remain unscathed in questionable circumstances.

Personality: What can we say about Revelry? A lot! He is a game boy, always the first one to rise and last one to go to sleep at night. Always interested in doing more, he doesn't tire easily. He can sometimes be impatient, much like a little kid at Christmas waiting to open presents. He seems to understand the difference between training and competition, as in training he can be a handful and gives a little buck now and again and a hop to show his playful nature. In competition though he is all business, he knows his rider's feelings and will not act up at all when things are tense. He doesn't get rattled nerves, but he often has eyes bigger than his legs. It takes a good rider to know his limits-which are not substantial-to make sure to ask him to do everything he can, but not push him above his abilities. We adore his pricked ears every morning, with the eager face of, "What are we going to do today? Let's get started!".
